Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

obviously MBBS is difficult in any college. For the fact that hardwork or smartwork is needed. Curriculum is very good and helps in real world applications as well. We do have Internal assesments during the course and formative assessments frequently.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship is compulsory for 1 year. They put you on all hour duties and its tiring. Stipen is not been provided for now idk in future. we have turns in each department during internship and only if we get singed we get our degree of MBBS

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently doing my 2nd year MBBS UG here. When i joined the fees was 25L per year for 5 and half years totally which is around 1.25C. Since its a deemed college, fees is fixed. Major criteria to get in is pass mark in NEET UG. Appart from per year fees, they charge extra for record notes and university exam fee.And currently for 2024 admission I heard it is 27.50 Lacs per year( not sure please check for the clg website).

Campus Life

3

Medical college is horrible in extra curricular aspects. Here, we hardly have one culturals every year sometimes pongal celebrations thats all dont expect much. And ppl into sports can grab opportunities when it comes to intercollege matches. Classrooms are good fully air contitioned, library is good they have almost all books. Restrooms are okeyish.

Admission

I scored around 400 in neet UG and it is more than enough for my clg cutoff. I wanted to get into ramachandra medical college but it slipped off in few marks and they do charge more and extra apart from the fees as far as I heard.Admission process for this clg is simple you must pass neet with minimum mark of 200 atleast. Admission is clear and simple amd management is helpful.

Faculty

4

Faculties are really good. Some are strict some are friendly but most of them teach well and concentrate on making us pass. There are many teachers in each department accordingly. All medical colleges have only one single university exam at the end of each year. each subject has 2 papers. As far as now we have supplementary exam curriculum but atleast 50 students tend to clear to forst attempt.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very extensive and there are 18 subjects to study split over a period of 5 years which includes internship also. Though the curriculum is vast it is a scared job that has motivated me to choose this course. The curriculum and teaching methods help us in treating patients and improving our academics. Improvements that can be made includes improving the patient exposure and communication skills with practical expertise. The exams are conducted yearly once, with the paper being moderate to difficult. There should be more clinical orientation to improve clinical skills rather than only studying books and improving knowledge

Soon after studies there is no assured package but if you can get decent job offers from various hospitals with a min salary package of 60k. There is a lot of opportunities that you have after completing MBBS. Wide variety of opportunity to learn from.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally like science so i took up this course. The college prepares you very well for the real world. By the end of the 5years you would become a full fledged doctor. The current teaching methods are fine but more of mcqs should be concentrated rather than theory writing. According to me the internals are fine but the university exams are very difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Competency Based Medical Education (CBME) is pretty relevant to today's needs of a doctor, with more competency based skill learning and regular assessment of students, along with subjects like attitude, ethics and communication skills, pandemic modules etc. The only disadvantage is it still has a few redundant systems such as record maintenance etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a doctor, I can help people a lot. There is a lot to study and knowing the human body, to cure disease, and much more is a great experience. The curriculum prepares me to do great in my future endeavors. The thing I think they lack is a bit more clinical exposure for all students separately. Teaching methods are all good. They conduct exams after each important section, they teach. Around 6-7, internal exams are kept.

Speaking about positive remarks the teaching is very good, faculties are the best, the college campus is away from the city rush. I am talking about the negative remarks the hospital is about three kilometres from the college, the food is just average, the place don't have any major attractions, lack of greenery.
