Professors are very supportive having great teaching methodology.
We get the facilities of IITs like Library, sports ground etc

Dislikes

Management isn't quite well and the campus immersion time is very short.
They used to collect fees before end semester exams.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is quite impressive as it has been designed per the demands of our industry so that we can easily provide what our society needs and the teaching method is also quite impressive as they start from very basics and take you to the top. The frequency of time and difficulty is quite lengthy.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 92000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

You have to build either a website or search an error in third or you can do capstone project. Many Multi National Companies like Wipro, TCS , Deloitte, Accenture, Microsoft, Google visits here for recruitment.

Placement Experience :

From 4th semester students were eligible for internships. And from 6th semester students were eligible for placements. Many MNCs come and recruit here like Deloitte,Wipro, TCS with an avg package offering 8lpa but it can be vary based upon your skills. As this is new course hence no new placements stats we get what I shared is the information from college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Hello everyone... I'm a BSc hons CSDS student of IIT Patna.Here, I'll give you a brief review regarding the college and its course. How to get selected....? You got your name in the merit list released by IIT Patna you have to give either PSAT or any other competitive exams like Jee mains, Advanced, KVPY, NTSE etc. After selecting you have to go through document verification... Then deposit the 1st semester fees which is 46k INR They will organise a preparatory classes for those who takes early admission it's a plus point for us. The year wise total fees is about 276000 INR. No extra charges like private colleges do... As we all know that this is IIT. Hence, it's quite tough not everyone can do it. But still somehow some students manages and come in the placement section in third year. Our seniors of second year got paid internships in different MNCs like Wipro , Deloitte etc.... But there is no reservations either in fees or in merit sections. Hope you'll get what you want from this

Campus Life :

Elixir is our annual fest in IIT Patna. We can books from library And access class recordings online. There are various clubs managed by students like dance football badminton music drama nature photography and lots more.

Admission :

I choose this college over other colleges because I'm jee mains qualified and it's an IIT. The selection process is based on your PSAT performance or Jee mains , Advanced ,KVPY, NTSE. The selection process is very easy they will release the merit list based on your scores in the above examinations.

Faculty :

In my batch it is 1 : 45 faculty to student ratio. They are very supportive and friendly. All the facilities are best but I mostly likes the English and CS faculty. Quizes are held approx 4 in each semester and 1 end semester exam and 1 assignment in each semester in each subject. The difficulty of exam is quite high as you know this is IIT not lpu.

IIT Patna : A Dream College

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for placements. Mote than 200 companies every year visited to college including Microsoft, Deloitte, TCS, Accenture etc. In 2024 more than 250 offers are made. Average package for Btech student is INR 17LPA and overall placement percentage is 86%.

A College focused more on Studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are plenty of faculties for my course, that's why I prefer to choose this course. Faculties are student-friendly. They are very helpful. They solve our every doubt. Faculties are well qualified. Exams are held every semester on the basis of each course. But, one has to study hard to score good marks in exams because exams are quite difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had an interest in science that's why I wanted to do a BSc i.e., Bachelor of Science, and to complete my UG degree. Since it was the most popular local calling and the quality of our faculty was good and much qualified so faculty: student ratio was normally at least 1:100 since it was a popular University so here faculties called professor they were much qualified and they were helpful to students too. Before lockdown, all the exams were held on time, in a given period of time but after outdoor lockdown, all things were changed, all the exams kept postponing.
