- Love the ambience and the labs in college. Extremely suitable for practical applications
- It’s very free and the students have a lot of freedom
Dislikes
- The hostel from what I’ve heard from friends are very bad
- The teachers in first year of college is horrible after you get into your specific department. It is excellent
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I'm interested in cars and grew up with cars . The course is relevant only after 1nd year. First year is absolutely horrible and a nightmare coz the teachers are horrible and we are again learning 12th portions . Exams are held every month in the form of CIA Continuous Interval Assessments. And we have our semesters every 3 month. It's kind of easy few subjects rest are tough
Internships Opportunities :
Most of the internships which were offered form college were online . Such as autocad and Ansys workshops . Which did not have any stipend but have helped us in improving our design skills which is very useful
Placement Experience :
Placement comes after 7th sem for a four year course and 5th sem for a 3 year course . IBM have a partnership with Hindustan. Volkswagen and Ashok leyland also visited . My plan after my degree is to start a business
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The main fees is 1.96L and everyone in automobile got a scholarship which makes the fees 90k . I opted for college bus so I pay an extra 44k . We can come in our own convenience also . The fees is actually very affordable compared to other colleges.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very good. We are having fun . It is very free college . A lot of clubs to join. I have joined the motorsport club because Im a trained racer . And have a passion for racing . There are lot of other group for different departments. Where there is nebula astrology club for the aerospace department .
Admission :
I applied to kings Cornerstone international college. But I didn't feel like going abroad this early and wanted to spend more time in Chennai. I had also got into kings cornerstone . Admission process is online application . And we have to pay a small token amount to reserve the seat. And then a week before college we have to go and submit all our details and original certificate
Faculty :
As I said . In first year we have general faculties . Which is very very bad . The teachers are extremely strict and don't teach well. After reaching second year. All the teachers in our department are good . Except the maths teacher . Mrs Thiligavathy who has no clue what she is teaching . Our Automobile HOD is very supportive .
Interview Experience :
We did omit have any interview for admission. We only had to write the HITSEE which is the entrance exam for Hindustan . And we would get in if our marks were high . There wasn't any GD specifically. There were a lot of people who wanted to join and most of them got in
