What Students Say

Likes

Their is a gym, pool, grounds, indoor games, etc
University has a big , large and nice compound
The senior are very friendly and they guide us beautiful

Dislikes

I am in evening shift and I don't like evening
Their is so much of a network problem and i have so much problem from it
The road from my pg and hostel is steep and I don't like to walk in the steep road they make me sweat bucket

From my point of view the curriculum and the relevance and comprehensive of the course are somewhat good i am new that's my review will be somewhat sloppy but who know it will change in upcoming future

According to senior the placement we can get from this college are good . The 65-70 company are their to offer a placement for their company every year,their pakage ar somewhat decent also the recruitment rate also good i heard that too

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of this college is somewhat expensive as looking into my family income , but it is affordable. Their are some people of my batch that get a little discount offf compare fron mine. Thar is all.

Campus Life

From my experience the overall aspect of the University is good it's has a nice environment and everyone is friendly. The senior that we got are also friendly and most of they are wonderful to talk . The club involvement is also a lot better . The infrastructure also provide a lot of amount of things.

Admission

Because i was doing nothing at all in my home that's why i chose this college. And i heard some good rumours of this college according to the rumours this college has good placement and the education we can get from this university is excellent

The faculty of the University is good but their are some concern according to me not because the faculties are faulty but because of the evening i said before and u am saying it now also i don't like to attend my class in evening because i hate evening

Placement Experience:

The college placement aren't much in our college because our college is too deep inside the area it's like a village area companies find it difficult to come here. Companies mostly come for chemical and mechanical engineering students to hire them. For electrical and civil you have to apply off campus. I don't know the highest package from our college but the recent package that was offered by mahindra to mechanical engineering students was 19000 per month. Atleast 35% students get on campus placement. My plan after degree is to pursue mtech or maybe BFA in Seoul, South Korea or maybe find a job outside india

Placement Experience:

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is btech and since it is an IIT the faculty are the best in their fields profs here have done PhD from Stanfords of the world and the prof-student ratio is very healthy. Although there are a lot of exams in the ballpark weekly one or the other exam will be there and the exams are very tough but grading is relative.

You are eligible for internship placement in the 5th semester and for the full time, you're eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. 223 offers were made for 22 pass out students. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Amazon Deloitte ZS Associates Tekion Mindtickle Gamescraft. The highest package was 61.5 lakhs and the average package was 15.34 lakhs. 95.12 per cent of students got placed. My plan after college is to work as a software developer.

Brief Review of Assam Downtown University Guwahati

I choose this college over other school its cheaper it's good 93NIRF ranking and colleges in Assam Guwahati the view the nature the everything here is very nice very green and the universities on mountain Soya the view from the University campus the canteens the cafe is very good.
