The enviornment is really good you can go on trips whenever you feel to as kashmir is just a heaven on earth
The interaction between senior and juniot is good everyone is helping in nature

The thing I disliked is that there are 5 students in a room till 3rd year
The mess food quality is also not really good

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is average considered best for government exam and many students prsue for it too and get successful also as I have seen many seniors doing it we also have labs of subject which helps to know the subject well

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for general is approx 85 thousand per semester with above 5 lakhs per annum income certificate, the fees charges may vary according to the catogery Or annual family income. Mess fees is approx 15 thousand per semester and students can get scholarship through NSP

Campus Life :

The campus life is average the clubs in the college are not much active usually but the sports facilities are good as there are different ground for each sports and the college also participate in intet nit competition and has also won some trophies

Admission :

I chose this college because of its location and it's incresing development and to explore the part of the country well and we get enough time here to prepare for our future development and it was the only good choice I had

Faculty :

Faculties are good and helping in nature nice way of teaching and provide valuable information and also guide the students if he want help there are one mid sem and one end sem exam for 1 semester out of which 24 marks are internal and other is for writting it's not much difficult to clear the exam if u study few days before too

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teachers put alot of effort to make children understand the concepts. they give real work examples for more clarification so that students can relate easily and understand more efficiently.. recently examination pattern has been changed we have to give one mid sem exam(20)marks and major exam (40)marks. 20 marks for quiz and 20 marks for assignments or projects.

After fifth semester, most of the students are eligible for campus placements and some of them got placed also in some companies . TCS, Maruti suzuki , orange , infosys , HCL, many electronics companies , HP and many other companies provided approx. 300 offers . The highest package of the college was approx. 32 lakh and the average package ranges from 550000 to 650000.

Good for self learners

Remarks:

Taking addmission in this college should be one's priority only if one is not economically strong and want to do B. Tech. Otherwise, try not to come here. If you can take drop, do that. Campus is close to nature. You can go to treks to take a break. There is almost no pollution at all. Air is fresh. Geographically, college is really good.

Entrance Preview:

The admission to Engineering colleges in J&K is made through JKCET entrance examination. I also got admission through same procedure where in I managed to score 102 marks. I wanted to pursue Engineering in ECE branch and the best engineering college in Jammu based on placements which offered ECE was this college.

Placement Experience:

The placements could be termed as average with most of the students getting offer letter in the range of 2.5-3 LPA. The college couldn't get the students placed in some big companies at higher pay package. The companies which visited our campus during that time included Stayam, Infosys, L&T, Mytas, Hindustan Construction, Canon.
