Course Curriculum Overview :

Has well advanced syllabus and also it's very much interesting in comparing to other syllabuses of colleges. We have more practical based curriculum as we have a lot of case based questions and case based lessons on it. Improvement in the aspect of curriculum for first year is very much required as it has very basic syllabus in it. Exam is conducted once in a 2 month for each semester.

Internships Opportunities :

Genicon, Nanthanam, Temple tower and a lot more intership offers are given to me. We were teased to how to do our moa and balance sheet in a company basis and it gave us a lot of practical knowledge and great view of how a company would be and how we should be working in a company. We are assigned on different job categories and different post would be assigning into the permanent position if we done good in our internship program and I had got that benefit.

Placement Experience :

We are variety of placement opportunities are available in our college as a lot of companies come in for job interviews in our college campus during our last semester. Aceture is one of the company came for our interview. If not campus interview is selected for me I would be opting to do my master degree and in case of other students they would be opting to in campus and out campus job offer that would be conducted as job fair every year in Chennai.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Annual fees is around 60000. Registration fees 35000 is collected. No lab fees are collected seperately and it's collected along with annual fees. Aided and self finance has different fee structures. Aided would have less fees comparing to SFS.

Campus Life :

We have a lot of number of clubs in our college including rotary club and also NSS and NCC which has a great contribution in social aspect and which helps us to learn a lot and going person and experience every social aspect and real life experience. We have a lot of sports persons in our college and are college really gives a very much important to sports and we have a lot of women team in our college as it's a women's College. Everyone is encourage to participate in sports and clubs and everyone's are made into group to has a group experience and to overcome our fear of speaking in public.

Admission :

I already apply to Madras Christian College but I didn't choose it because the college here has very much different variety of courses available in b.com. Here we have BCom in ca, cs, etc. Admission process are taken place through online and we would be receiving selection list in the official website and we are required to meet in person and submit our original documents after the admission process had been completed and fees has been paid.

Faculty :

3 internals are conducted. All 3 are written exam and conducted for 50 marks each. Best of 2 is selected and converted to 50 marks. Semester is conducted for 100 marks and converted to 50 marks. Both these marks are added and 100 is given.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) due to the core subjects are very much related to the subject of accounting and finance so that i can concentrate on my core ones. Other than this there are Bachelor of Commerce (Computer applications) and Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Secretaryship) which is been newly added in the current academic year.

The frequency and timings of exams my perspective is depends upon the person studied but all staff are very motivating the students and helping for the internship. Difficulty level is you study a lot means decrease the difficulties but you not studied means increase difficulty
