Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculam is tailored to make students a professional accountants and is making them well prepared to face competitive professional courses like ca , cs , cma, cfa, acca etc. there are 2 internal exams conducted before the semester and other activities relating to skill Innovation conducted regularly

Internships Opportunities :

Since iam a first year guys I don't know much about internships . But I know for sure that internship are mandatory at our college from 3 year accross all Courses and students are left earlier to take part in their respective internship programs

Placement Experience :

Placement is quite good at PSG cas when compared to other colleges u can get a maximum placement of 10 lakh lpa for bcom degree and average placement is 6 lakh lpa . Big companies like ey, Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG and various other companies come for placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My course bcom( professional accounting) is one of the most highly charged course uder department of commerce . It's not an aided program and so fee structure changes from batch to batch but change in the same batch itself. There are 2 categories under this one is merit based and other is management based admission. I got under merit based admission pls not that only cut off are taken into consideration and I had 99 %cut off and I was one of the last ones to get an merit based admission and so my fee is 46000 per sem . If u got by management then It will cost u around 86000 per semester. Scholarships are based on nsp criteria like any other colleges

Campus Life :

Sports , yoga are made mandatory in 1 years to make students delve. In physical activities other than studies. Ncc and nss are encouraged. There various other certificate courses offered to students and these are given credit in their the degree . There are 50-60 clubs and forums across various fields to promote and encourage students other talents. Sporting activities are equally encouraged

Admission :

Admission happed via counselling . Afcourse my first preferences where christ, jain, layola and srcc. I wrote the entrance for christ , jain and layola and I got into them but it was my family who forced me to study from my home and PSG was the best institution in my home town. But if you now ask me PSG is the best because it has better nirf ranking than srcc and layola and the fee structure is far better than those colleges u get better exposure and knowledge at a low price

Faculty :

Faculty are well equipped and have vast know with regard to the subject thought. Marking system is divided into 2 parts in 25 +75 ration. Here 75 marks is from your score in sem exams where as 25 marks are internals . The internal marks then again come from 2 internal exams, attendance , skill Innovation task . There are also other mandatory components such as nptel, ncc/nss, being a member of various clubs in college, library hours, type writing, social immersion activities, additional papers to be completed

Night Life :

We have one of the finest libraries in the country almost 100 years old. Which caters to quench the knowledge thirst for students. 9 hostels function in the college which as a home away from home for students. There are 3 canteen across the college which can be easily accessed by students .

Placement Experience:

The 5th semester makes the students eligible for campus recruitment and then they often have campus recruitment from the month of November to may Pretty much VIPRO , KALIMARK and many other more MNC companies and much more visit the college for recruitment basis Most students don't opt for placements because they want to do a PG course but I would say 65% of people going for placements get one job or the other I plan on doing a PG as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) due to the core subjects are very much related to the subject of accounting and finance so that i can concentrate on my core ones. Other than this there are Bachelor of Commerce (Computer applications) and Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Secretaryship) which is been newly added in the current academic year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency and timings of exams my perspective is depends upon the person studied but all staff are very motivating the students and helping for the internship. Difficulty level is you study a lot means decrease the difficulties but you not studied means increase difficulty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally I like the examination process that we write for 3 hours of exam that will be a challenge for the students but the students will definitely get good question papers from the college and without any leak of the question paper.
