  • There has been few to no amount of attention give to sports events or culturals
  • The canteen in the college felt like a deserted coner with no infrastructure

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well, the thing i really loved about architecture was the practical aspect. Gave me more space to look things different. The journey to the real world seem well prepared cause we learn from the experts who teach us the beginning to professional difficulties. The process was tough, but you did look back and wonder you did do more. I did say depending on college for your knowledge wouldnt be entirely a good thing. As this profession cost you a practical knowledge , learn about things from other sources like youtube or articles. Lack of exposure in terms of fast phase world can be a huge challenge

Fees and Financial Aid :

I had applied for a seperate scholarship through my old school, they do take a donation at the start of the year of about 50k , there is a category alloted for general and obc community. All the provision such as stationary and books arent provided by the university.

Campus Life :

Infrastructure is a major setback, the teaching and learning exp shadows the negative aspect. No culturals, no proper canteen, no spacious classrooms, no seating area outside classroom, no sports . No social groups or student groups. No technology provision inside classroom, we had to walk to another floor and check for availablity for the projector.

Admission :

I definatly had to choose this university for the reputation it upholds. Higher job placement oppurtunity and greater yeild to your efforts in terms of other colleges. I tried applying to Anna university but the marks werent enough to get into it

Faculty :

To be honest my experience with faculties have been to average. I felt some were very much a motivation for me wherease others would be a nightmare The exams are about 5-6 depending on the electives. I did say the fail ratio would 2:40 Every students are divided into 4 sections each sections containing about 40 students. I was from D section, things were very smooth. A little bit of pain and effort did take to complete the work. Cause every time you did go for corrections you did either have to redo the work or correct the drawings Also the corrections you do are mostly faculty orientated. You did have a space for your creative side if you are firm and not doubtful as to why you designed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very application based and hence very creatively stimulating. Architecture is best done when practiced and hence the college can only broadly address all the aspects of the practice. Teaching of the concepts required immense experience and knowledge and should be done with a lot of case studies for easier understanding. The exams have good intervals between them giving ample time to prepare.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I already have a family background for choosing this course. The college follow a different pattern while compared to other colleges which is more convenient to cope up with. They follow a single subject for 2 weeks which is easier to understand without any confusions

Placement Experience:

Fourth year of architecture course is completely for internship in architectural firms around the world. This offers how practically the practice of Architects helps in construction. Thus we have some limited campus interviews after final year with some good salary packages. Architecture is a professional course which we can start a firm after getting a licence from central authority and also work as a junior in any firm all over the world. Every one of us get placed with our own involvement in getting knowledge. Starting packages of around two lakhs per annum.

Admission:

I got admission in the college by getting a minimum of 50% marks in my higher secondary education with mathematics as a compulsory subject. I even gave National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) exam with a score of 80 out of 200.

Placement Experience:

Th college does not provide any placement or internship programs but it trains the interested students to be confident enough and to be ready for every interview. The student can be a Landscape architect, Estates manager etc and can get a good stipend.

Remarks:

My director is someone i HIGHLY look upto, one of my reasons to love this college. He is a man i keep in a very high position of respect for his knowledge and the person he is. The college may not cater to your cultural like any other college, it may not have a HUGE campus, or a fancy canteen, but u will be eternally grateful for the people you meet here, the friends you make , the teaches who guide you and the college itself. Its location is a HUGE plus point, in the heart of the city! It becomes a fond memory once you leave so every institution has its good and bad qualities, its what you make of it that will define your experience, and in my final year i can tell you, there is no other place id rather be.

Remarks:

College life is memorable for everyone. For us it was fun as well as educative. One because of our course curriculum and other because of the management's approach in handling the students.
