Registered for TNEA and attended the counselling where I got admission into the college. The eligibility criteria in 2016 were to clear the NATA exam and have a score. The score is calculated by taking 50% of NATA score and 50% of Class 12 marks, based on which ranks would be made available. Based on the ranks, counselling days are allocated and seats are filled.

The college was more than what I expected, I liked the fluidity and flexibility of the learning environment, but more focus should be given to bringing out the individuality of the student and allow for more opening of the mind. Sometimes it might seem limiting, and putting you in a box. But this has majorly got to do with the kind of faculty also, but I think the course should shape exercises in a way that the students are stretched to their maximum abilities regardless of the teacher's nature.
