- I personally like the infrastructure of the college. We have different blocks with spacious classrooms along with lift.
- The staffs are too friendly, having a good relationship with the staff during the course is very important.
Dislikes
- The price of the things inside the college is high.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college is one of the renowned college for aeronautics and aerospace engineering. The department has well experienced and trained staffs. Each class goes around 50 minutes and the last 10min would be for the attendance. Staffs not only teach from the books but also help us understand the real theme of studying the subject. They also give us practical experience with a huge lab provided .
Internships Opportunities :
There are many companies providing internship . I prefer HAL Bengaluru internship and DRDO internship . Also internship from ISRO is also provided .Many students do their internship both online and offline . Credits are provided according to the internship done
Placement Experience :
From the third year the students become eligible for the campus placements. The college provides better placements from top companies like Boeing, DRDO, HAL and many more. The average package is around 4.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. Many students get placed .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
At the time of admission a fee of 25000 needs to be paid and this will be reduced from the first year fee Later for my course the first year fee was 1,80,000 and for the next consecutive years it was 1,25,000.
Campus Life :
Every Friday, the events are organised and people with interest join them and make the evening joyful . We also have a big annual event named yarona and the event is for 2-3 days . Followed by sports events. There are many technicals events organised by many departments .
Admission :
From the beginning I was determined to study aerospace engineering. After my completion of grade 12, I started looking for the best college . I found my intrest in two colleges vit and Hindustan. By the time I reach out to the vit, all the exams and admission were completed . Then I opted for my second priferenced college Hindustan. To get admitted in the college , you can write the university entrance exam , after clearing the fees would be minimum . If not you can get admitted directly.
Faculty :
Maintaining a good relationship with the faculty is important. The staffs are too friendly, they help us with academics and non academics too. Each student is personally assigned mentor ,whom you would be meeting every week and discussing about your issues and your opinions . I personally like my department staffs like sridharan sir and Saravanan sir.They are too friendly to discuss your issues in academics and help resolve the issues. For a semister there are 2 CIA (ie monthly test) followed by practical and main semister. Most of the students clear the exam with good grades.
