- Psit has a great infrastructure including best in class sports ground and well maintained, cleaned and fully air conditioned classes
- Psit has a great coding culture. Faculties here help the students at every step
Dislikes
- 90% attendence criteria is the main point which i dislike the most
Course Curriculum Overview :
In my opinion curriculum should be improoved a little as psit is affiliated with AKTU . Curriculum is a little bit outdated. They are teaching the things which were tought years ago in the same college. It also doesnt prepares you for the real world problems. Yes placement drives are there and they also help in placement but in academics they lag a bit
Internships Opportunities :
There are a tremendous amount of internships offered in our college Some companies which visited the campus are Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, naggaro, etc There gave the best stipends to the students ranging from?30000 per month to 1.1lakh per month. The major role offered to them Was a software developer
Placement Experience :
Psit kanpur has the best overall campus Its spred in 120 acres it also has hostels, canteens and all the other necessary needs inside the campus itself. Yes the management is a bit strict but the campus is overall the best in class.
Fees and Financial Aid :
I will be paying ?180300 for one year and this was the only amount i paid to the college for my admission Other than this i paid 20000 to AKTU for councelling which would be adjusted in my fees. The total tuition fees for one year of my college is 180300. Apart from this hostel facility is also available charges of which are Ac room-96k for a year Non ac room-84k for a year And bus facility is also available for day scholars for a charge of ?40k a year which is available throughout kanpur There are scholarship opportunities also here. If you have got over 90% in PCM in class 12th or below 1 lakh rank in JEE mains you will get?60k scholarship from the college in the tuition fees and ?15k in the hostel fees In my opinion the course is affordable as compared to some other colleges
Admission :
I didnt applied in any other college other than this one I blindly applied in this at first only because i wanted a college in my city itself and it was also affordable. Talking about the admission process so yes it is a bit complicated. For me it took around 4-5 hours for the physical reporting process . Arranging the documents in proper format and verifying them was a great mess
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio is good enough. If a student has any dobt in any of the subject faculties are very much helpful and supportive. They personally assist the student in his/ her studies so that noone faces any problem in any part of the course
