Course Curriculum Overview :
The bew guidelines provided by the nmc are followed and hence the competencies that a medical professional must have are kept in mind and students are trained accordingly. The teaching is well in collaboration with the exams so no issues there
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is given in the college itself and paid around 24000 per month which is decent according to the work done here. You will help the junior residents over a year in internship and this is the time you learn new tasks
Fees and Financial Aid :
25000 per year. Till now it is not increasing . For NRI candidates it is 80 lakhs for 5 years complete. For SC or ST the fees is less. Hostel fees is separate but is quite affordable. Gor NRI hostel is costly
Campus Life :
The campus life is good as you have all the facilities of canteen, various fests are held throughout the year be it inter or intra college fests. Students take part throughout the year in these fests and eventually you will have a good social life
Admission :
Chandigarh is a beautiful and developed city and this college has a very good rank as compared to the other govt medical colleges. Students are trained properly here and the facilities and infrastructure along with exposure to patients is very nice
Faculty :
The total number of students are 150 in a class. Theory lectures are taken by the consultants and professors. However you alcan go anytime for doubts and practical classes are cery well divided within demonstrators so that each and every student learns well. All the subjects are equally good. Exams keep on going throughout the year as per the nmc guidelines and it is kept in mind that all competencies that are given by nmc are completed according to the log book. Few students definitely are not able to pass the exams but they are given subsequent chances to reappear
