Remarks :

In my opinion, dont look at the external infrastructure. The staff quality, events,system makes it a very nice place to get your student life be fruitful. The college offers a great career opportunity.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared for almost all the entrance exams going on at that time in 2011 like IIT-JEE, MH-CET, AIEEE etc. I got a sufficient score in AIEEE. It was 93 out of 450 with all india rank 15000. I applied for VIIT(Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology) for computer engineering. I got the admission in 2nd round.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (Formerly University of Pune). So the course curriculum is decided by the university. The course is good for basic computer knowledge.But for our batch,it was a very old data. In computer world, the information is updated on daily basis. But the syllabus of the university was 5 years old. Now they have updated the syllabus.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes. The college provides internship opportunity. The company is Innobytes Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (for computer engineering students)No stipendExperience certificate for completion of the project.

Placement Experience :

Best college for the placements. There are hundreds of companies coming every year with the job offers. Big companies like Infosys,TCS,Accenture,Cognizant,Wipro etc hire the students in bulk. At our time, infosys hired 110 people followed by Accenture 80. The placement is very good at this college. If you maintain your score above 60% your placement is 99% guaranteed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college doesn't offer any scholarship. You can avail government scholarship if eligible. Loan facility is also not offered by the institution.

Campus Life :

The worst thing about the college is the infrastructure. The roads are not good.The college buildings are nicely maintained though. Campus life is totally dependent on the people you are with. There are always the good guys and bad guys at any campus. But overall campus life is good at VIIT. There is a strong anti-ragging cell at the college. It monitors all the activities at the campus.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, The alumni network is strong. They hold get-together events where students can get connected and resolve their doubts.Seniors are also helpful.

Exam Structure :

As the college is affiliated to University of Pune, the exam structure is inherited from the university. The semester system is followed in the college. Every 4-5 months, there is a theory exam for all the subjects & practical exam for some subjects requi

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
