  • Placement was not that good according to me

Course Curriculum Overview :

Coming from commerce background i wanted to get into finance field due to which i chose b.com specifically. Canara college was the one which would prepare me to face the corporate world due to the training given in college. I would not suggest any changes

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Year wise fees was 75000 for 3 years. And this was through management seat. Earlier there were various scholarships available examination fees was upto 2000 every semester. Overall it was quite affordable. Merit seats is also still available

Campus Life :

Overall i have made best use of college like sports, various clubs. If anybody is looking for a college which concentrates on both curriculum as well as other activities, i would definitely suggest this college.

Admission :

My seniors recommended me this college because college concentrated on shaping the students to the real corporate world. Also they had various club activities and completions conducted which would shape my skills. Procedure was pretty much simple. I had interview with some lecturers and also i had to show them my previous score cards

Faculty :

Faculties were really helpful. Handling too many students is not easy but the lecturers have addressed everyone equally. Personally wouldn't name the lecturers but i can assure you that each and every lecturer is very much guiding

There are different faculty members for teaching BCom and ca Bcom class are usually in the morning time Whereas CA class will be there after Bcom classes ( afternoon to evening ) Bcom exams are bit easy when you compare with CA You need at least one month of proper time and hard work to pass the CA Foundation course

Placement Experience:

For the day college, there are placements. Every year a lot of start-up companies or small scale companies come for campus interview. A lot of students are selected. But the package is around 1.8 - 2 lacs per year. For evening college I don't they have campus placements. We have to look for jobs ourselves. I plan on doing internships and learn after my graduation.
