College review

Remarks :

The college needs some improvisation to match the level of other big colleges

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum wasn't that specific to provide industry-specific knowledge. Yes. One industry visit was organised to a nearby water manufacturing factory. But I feel that made no sense to us as we are commerce students and we were taken to a manufacturer

Placement Experience :

The placement in our college can be rated 6/10 as there are a very few companies that come in with a high profile job

College Events :

We celebrate our college fest once in an year. It's called gloranza. This is conducted in the even sems of ever year where our college students take part and compete other college students for cash prizes or medals or trophies. We also have various other activities that is conducted by our college for the students of our college

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees for my course is ?30,000 an year and this has to be paid via cash or account transfer only. The additional fees charged is for uniform and that is an amount of ?5000 during admission. Yes. The college provided transparency in the fee breakdown

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I didn't opt for any scholarships. And I'm not sure about the college offering scholarship as it was not mentioned

Campus Life :

The ratio for boys to girls are probably 4:1 or maybe more than that. There are no parties conducted Workshops are conducted on a regular basis out of which few are free and the rest are paid workshops. There is a very low level of gender discrimination that happens in our college as there are a very few numbers of students.

Alumni/Alumna :

No. None of the alumini was helpful in any way. This is something that has to be improved on and made accessible

Admission :

I opted for this course because I wanted to study the same as I did my PU in commerce and I wanted to persuade b.com The factors that made me choose this institution are : 1. Near my location 2. Well reputed 3. Low fees Admission steps: Enquiry in the admission room Fill admission form Pay fees

Faculty :

The faculty has done their m.com or mba and they are qualified enough to teach us. Few of them do hold an industry-experience and certifications. The principal had done many PG courses and has a lot of experience. The other faculty is also experienced enough

Placement Experience:

As am currently pursuing a course called ACCA. I have to write exams and there are other plans of doing MCom. After the 5th sem, the students get the chance to take part in campus placements. there are many multinational and regional companies that attend the fair so there is no problem of searching for jobs. companies like EY, KPMG, Standard Chartered etc attend the fair. The companies offer more than 30000 packages for the new placements. Multinationals almost offer more packages and there are other multinationals who offer less, the money is not the issue but the quality of experience that is being gained is what counts. The ones who clear the interview will get the placements. Almost 90% of the students get placements. My plan is to take up MCOM to get a double degree. And am currently doing ACCA along with BCOM.

Remarks:

My personal opinion about this college is that please do not opt for this college. You might be happy before getting into this college but later you will suffer a lot. Be very careful what your decision is.
