- Easy syllabus for first semesters clearing the basics
- Regular events, coding competitions and tech fests
Dislikes
- 80% attendance mandatory, it is too hectic and time consuming for students to pursue other things on side
- 100 students in a single section, the student to teacher ratio is bad, and the campus feels too crowded during lunch, recess
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in computers and technology so it was natural for me to choose CSE, but right now they're mostly teaching basic sciences required for engineering, they're teaching a little bit of coding but as a lot of my batchmates are from bio background and don't have experience in computer science at all, they're going in really slow pace
Placement Experience :
I am not sure but I think from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant make more than 600 offers and almost 80% students are placed, the average is 8.83 lpa, the highest is 72lpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1st semester, I paid ?1.2 lakhs, yearly ?2.4, all my batchmates are same category and paid the same, there is no scholarship or aid. Lab fees, and other compulsory charges are included in the semester fees, however I'm a home scholar and commute to college everyday so hostel fees don't apply for me. Which can range from ?8-15k per month
Campus Life :
Technical Festivals are held almost every month here, and accessibility and range of books in the library is massive and kindles are available for borrowing, there are countless student run social groups organising events every 2 weeks it's hard to attend most.
Admission :
I couldn't apply to any other colleges as my jee results and boards result wasn't enough to apply to any other reputed colleges, I gave IEMJEE exam and got admission in the cse branch after counseling, the IEMJEE is really easy to crack and it was easy to get accepted
Faculty :
The faculty to student relationship is really good, and the faculty in first year are really approachable, but problem being the faculty to student ratio is too bad and it's hard to get their time and guidance as they're already usually busy with other students
