Remarks :

This is a great university with a very educated and experienced faculty members. The studing environment is good with helpful seniors and faculties. The university takes full responsibility in shaping you the way the industry needs engineers right now and thats what will get you placed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This is an university, so the sole right for the curriculum lies with them. The university follows the basic curriculum of WBUT but aslo have some minor changes according to the current industry need. The fee structure is almost same for all courses. Every year is divided into 2 semesters. With each semester fee of approx 60000.

Placement Experience :

2020 is the 2nd placement year of this university with a wonderful result than most of the other colleges. Last year almost 94% of the eligible candidates got placed with a minimum of 1job and maximum of 7 jobs. This year in the 1st phase only 768 students got placed with 2 phases still remaining. All of them got jobs in MNCs like TCS, CTS, Infosys, Capegemini, Deloitte and many more.

College Events :

Every year we have our freshers in the odd semester for the new batch. Then before pujo we have Agomoni Adda for the pujo. Along with that we organize tech fests and cultural fest every year in the even semesters. Along with that departmental competitions and workshops are also held in regular basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is what I call a little bit high than government colleges. Approximately all courses have the same fee structure of 60000 per semester and 2 semesters in a year. The first semester fee is of 70000 along with admission fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't know exactly what types of scholarships are provided by the university. But the E Cell is there for helping out students who are financially weak and need student loan. The university encourages students to participate in competitive exam and events and pays off all expenses if you perform well in this competitions.

Campus Life :

The labs are decently equipped with the tools required for training. We also have a 3D printer available within the campus for the students to use in their projects. There is a dedicated room for project design and development. All types of sport equipments are available in the university. There are table tennis boards, mini golf course and mini football field in the basement. Along with that we have basketball court and cricket field.

Alumni/Alumna :

This university is more connected than any other I have seen. The faculties are available on all days for my problem faced by students. Every group of students are allocated a particular faculty for their mentoring and guidance and for any problem faced within the campus. The seniors and alumnies are also very helpful. No ragging incident has ever happend within the campus. The seniors are truly an inspiration.

Admission :

I got admission directly with my 10th, 12th and WBJEE rank. The admission process is same till now. Direct admissions with a minimum marks criteria. Just need to have a minimum marks percentage of 60% in 10th and 12th.

Faculty :

This University has got some of the brilliant faculties I have seen. From the very first semester you have faculties who makes the subject matter very easy to understand and learn. As the semesters pass by and you come to your core subjects, you will see how good the faculties are in their respective fields. No faculty hesitates in doubt clearance. Even we have an extra 1 hour after college hours only allocated for doubt clearance by the faculties.

The placement of this college is quite good. 89% of students got placed in good companies like TCS, Accenture, Amazon, etc. in 2023. Moreover, this college also conducts special classes for placements where you will learn how to prepare for interviews and crack the interviews.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
