Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good for finance as I am a finance student. It covers almost everything that a finance student should know, but obviously that is not implemented in the company further, but the curriculum is designed in a way that covers everything from financial management to accounting to security analysis to our programming to excel to Valuation, et cetera.

Internships Opportunities :

There are many internships of opportunity available, but we have faced in our batch that many Companies were fake wedding had their own office and mostly Internship were unpaid or paid either cyber 6000 a month, so in inter experience was not very good since we were not getting paid and the companies were also not very good.

Placement Experience :

At 10, I am placements are good but offers less packages companies like Deloitte, PWC, Black rock, oxane comes to hire for finance for operations. There is Amazon and I am not sure about other specialisations.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I had scored 92 percentile in CMAT, so I was offered a scholarship of 1,25,000 Directly deducted from course fees, 10,60,000. Who scholarships are available for ST/SC quota. Along with scholarships on the basis of entrance, exam result.

Campus Life :

Every now and then there is an event either in college or by government events in different locations. They ask for nominations from students and once the nomination is made, this select certain students and the student has to appear for the event. Social life is very good at NDIM. They try to provide students some exposure. There are many industry mentors sessions in college. Also, they offered dual specialisation. The campus is very small. I mean very, very small.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is good. There are different hostels in two or three locations. I am in Sangam Vihar hostel. The hostel provides everything four times meal a day along with daily cleaning twice. Also there is a canteen other Then the mess inside the hostel that open till 11 PM. There are at least 20 workers in the hostel available all the time.

Admission :

I chose this college because I appeared for CMA score 92 percentile, but didn't got a college where I applied. So this was my last option and comparing to other colleges. The selection process is very very easy here at NDIM because they have a GD process then two rounds of personal interview, and nobody is rejected in these rounds. Also, many students what their admissions without any entrance entrance exam. They appeared for the entrance entrance exam after coming to college when the college demanded for an Entrance exam certificate. Comparing to other colleges, for example, like BML munjal or soil They provide the same packages as NDIM, but the course fee is very high, so if we compare that NDIM is better because the course fees is around 12 lakhs for the assessment Year 2024 to 2026 And the average package in 2026, would go around 8 lakhs So in terms of that comparing to other colleges, NDIM is better because R can be recovered within two years of working.

Faculty :

Faculty members are very helpful, about the exam structure, 70 marks, internal and 30 marks external in the 30 marks component. There is 10 marks for MCQ and 20 marks for written. Also the college is very student centric. If any student misses an assignment or exam internals is given multiple chances for re-attempt.

Interview Experience :

Yes, there was a group discussion round and two rounds of personal help during my admission. After that, I was offered the seat, but I had to pay 75,000 as the booking amount. If not, my seat will not be booked and I will not be able to take admissions. This was the criteria when I, took the admission .

Placement Experience:

Final placements start in the month of November. Many MNCs, startups, foreign companies and companies from different sectors visits the campus for summer internships and final placements as well. Placement activities take place in 2 phases. Profiles offered by the companies are at par the positions offered to IIM and other B School graduates. Almost 100% of the students are placed every year. Highest placement goes up to 32 lakhs, the average is 22 lakhs and the median package is 20 lakhs. The figures are almost the same for all the specializations that DMS offers. There are enormous opportunities for students of each specialization. Overall placement scenario at DMS is good.

The industrial exposures with the modern approach toward industry and corporate sector attracted me the most. I was interviewed at 2 levels by the senior faculty of the college itself.

Remarks:

The institute has the one of the best library, where I can find the different books for their studies. But not all books that are issued form the institute is relevant to syllabus so I have to purchase the books. The institute has the online portal that make me comfort in my studies and I can also go for the last year question papers from the portal.
