Remarks :

Bad about my college is only one thing that is coordination when there is problem or confusion they behave helpless or i would say we feel helpless. Good are opportunities they provide for us and the faculty.

Entrance Preview :

I gave MAT and i got 91%.I opted this college because of the location, i wanted to stay in delhi and when i researched i found this college one of the best. Placement is much better than other colleges, comapnies they offer are big companies to name a few are airtel, deloitte, dabur..

Course Curriculum Overview :

Research is basically done more in marketing subject. When i got the projects related to research. I had proper evaluation which was out of 30 i had to submit report which included what all it included it was calculation, findings, recommendations, conclusion. So it was good experience to work on a project. In respect to other subjects also lot of exposure we get by working on projects for different subjects. We got options of learning some new subjects and get a certification and for that we were not asked to pay any money which not give knowledge but also gives weightage to resume.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies are decent companies but the only thing is the stipend, many big companies do come but they don't provide stipend whereas start up companies which comes to college provides the stipend. Few big companies like Airtel, naukri,Aditya birla group, pepsi.

Placement Experience :

Placement got started in september, opportunities are good many companies are coming only problem is the package for people who are experience are not satisfied with the package. What package they are offering is suitable for freshers. average is 4 lakhs. Placements are decent.

College Events :

There are different events like inter college events, intra college events, fests which includes different events, sports competition (cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, indoor games) Stock games(technical), Fashion competition, Debates.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is 8 lakhs which i think not feasible for everyone. There are options like loans, and semester wise payment but in semester wise the amount is more as compared to annually payment.Fee as compared to recovering it through placement is not that satisfying so people who are really particular about these two aspects would find it difficult.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes scholarship is offered by college for those who score really good percentage people who score above 75 they get 6000 people who score above 80 they get 12000.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good, only thing is they haven't given proper campus where there is ground, proper space to just sit outdoor. Indoor games facility is just started, labs are reconstructed, debates are conducted once a year, different competitions like quiz, ad mad are conducted.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is really good the only problem is the location which sangam vihar which is an unauthorized are so the crowd is also not good. Rental is 6500 to 7000, facilities are good only problem is the location during monsoon it's really difficult to go out as road is not visible at all.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes alumni are helpful if someone contacts to any senior they don't say no to us they try to give us the best information.

Exam Structure :

We have Mid term exams and end term exams, so the mid term exams are basically before end term exam which are really hectic for us as they set three exams in a day, it becomes really difficult to manage everything as the course is really vast. We have viva also of the subjects which are not managed properly because sometimes some sections viva is set on different days with different subject exams which is really hard to recall everything.

Faculty :

Faculty is more visiting faculty which i think permanent should be there. But in respect to their teaching they are very particular and strict, they are really flexible and knowledgeable. They are friendly enough to interact with students, in most classes the sessions are interactive, where many questions are asked by the students which makes the session more interesting. Teachers are very experienced from really good background, the way they teach with different examples are really interesting which actually makes the discussion practical and interesting.

Placement Experience:

Final placements start in the month of November. Many MNCs, startups, foreign companies and companies from different sectors visits the campus for summer internships and final placements as well. Placement activities take place in 2 phases. Profiles offered by the companies are at par the positions offered to IIM and other B School graduates. Almost 100% of the students are placed every year. Highest placement goes up to 32 lakhs, the average is 22 lakhs and the median package is 20 lakhs. The figures are almost the same for all the specializations that DMS offers. There are enormous opportunities for students of each specialization. Overall placement scenario at DMS is good.
