- well giving one of then best laptop at start of semester 1 is one of the best thing and campus tour and parent teacher meets are also included in it to give parents proper views
- there are lots of social activites and clubs in collage which can make 4 years interesting also 700 acres of campus with playgrounds and Gyms which makes it perfect
Dislikes
- there are lots of campus which are away from hostels and which causes us to take long traveling route. Collage provides us buses but which are not enough for boys mainly
- Humid environment in bbsr is main reason for sweaty and hot environment in collage also in rainy season heavy rain cause blockages most of time.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most of the couses in 1 st year are based of base of engineering includes maths,physics, chemistry,social subjects and c programing. In second year it starts with data structurs,AFL,java,os and DBMS and sql in details. most of the subjects are related to brnch wise as i am in cse which is as above. Electives are also given to students to there choise and helps in there activies in social and rel world application
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities in collage starts from 2nd year or 4th semester. TNP cell provides information of companies for internship which consist of :- delloite,cisco,dell,netwavegen,zenken,amazon,flipkart and lot mores There are 1200 paid internships available in collage. Stipend starts from 20000 min to 100000 which is provided by various companies
Placement Experience :
From 6 semester you eligible for campus placement as you got no backlogs aslo intenships are stared from 4th semester. companies for placements are :-delloite,TCS,Philips,Amazon,ABB,Atlan,FSS,DENZO,Degital Infotech etc and more than 400 other companies are available. Highest package is around 63.50 lakh per annum and average is 8 lakh per annum. 90% of students got placed at end of year and in witch 1200 got multiple offers also 5200 job offers available
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
fee structure of collage is 1,75,00 per semester for batch of 2022 and its incresed upto 200000 per semester for batch for 2025. at regestration time 75000 are taken for laptop and 1000 rs are registration fees and no other than that but now laptop fees are 100000 for 1 time only. there are no categories wise fee difference from what i know 10000 per month is scholarship for those who got rank 1000 or lesser in kiit entrance examination (jee percentile 98% i guess).
Campus Life :
In my collage there is 1 big fest every year for freashers and also lots of small events and fuction according to dates and festivels. There are lots of magezins and study related books are available in liberary which includes novels, biographies and lots more. There are lots of sport related activies are conducted in campus also include NCC,Cricket,Tenis,Batmintan,Football and cricket got tornaments according to its hostels and esports also got tornaments organizations. Losts of sociaties are available such as iot labs,KRS,roboties,Coders and social helpers etcs which gives its own benifites
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel of mine consist of 3 beded non ac rooms and 3 cupboard, 3 tables,3 compartments for books,3 chairs, 2 fans,2 lights,and tablelights 3 as well. At start you are given 1 bucket and mug,1 cup,2 bedshits and pellow covers and matress. Meal quality is average not to be said good but still ok and menu changes every month and there is special menu at feastivels and 2 times a semester. Hostel registration constists of your choise of room and fees and is complesory for 1st year non school boarders. It is affordable for hostels than PG or room due distance and daily problems
Admission :
I have applied to PCCOE,SRM,VIT also got letters from VIT and SRM. Rejected there options due to fees in vit and distance of srm. PCCOE,pune rejected me in there cse branch due to there criteria and given me electrical branch. Admission process of KIIT is 1st there entrance exam whict determines your branch.generally cutoff of cse branch is 75 to 80 percentile. You can also apply from jee marks. Process of admission is simple as giving exam and getting letter and paying fess and documents as required.
Faculty :
about every 80 students there is an mentor faculty available who helps students in there collage as well as personal or any problems. Most of the faculties are friendly and easy to get along as they helps you and aslo masters in there subjects. there are total 2 exams for theory includes midsems(20) and endsems(50) are mid level difficult and are conducted in strict manner. In labs there are sessionals at end of semseters to evaluation of knowledge. total marks follows 20(midsem)+30(internals)+50(endsems)=100
