- The college infrastructure is a plus point . It is build is a very vast space . It is good for exploring
- The campus have a library,a gardern for botony , 5 blockes and 3 canteens . The food is good in canteen with affordable rates college is neat and we'll maintained
Dislikes
- I disliked the hype and hills in the college and we hv to climb up a lot to reach the college or hostels
- Attendence sometimes are not marked which I think the teachers should notice more
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum according to me is very accurate . It has all related topics on tourism . The first sem was basic subjects, and second sem was more of tourism based subjects we had an internship in 2nd sem nd it was for one mnth duration I'm now in 3rd sem and I think the curriculum is pretty good
Internships Opportunities :
I had a internship for one month in my second sem . It was in a hotel . The students itself hv to find a hotel and contact them and set eveythg for intership . The college only provides the letter for internship
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are provided for students . 40% of students do get placements . After studying BTTM u can join any company as a tour manager or in a travel agency or in airport. The college does provide all support for placement with needed certificate
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I got admission through Mahatma Gandhi University. There would be registration dates uploaded from official website . U hv to apply through it with ur certificates . A registration fee of 300 will hv to be paid . Once it is registered, wait for the allotment date , a trial allotment will be done first, only 20% of students will be selected in this . There will be 3 other allotment. If u get selected login in to ur college or they will send u a text with a date in which u will have to go to the college for admission . Make sure to go to ur college with all the certificates and universities allotment paper and ID proof . For me as I took BTTM the fee tht I had to be paid was 21500 . U will get admission on the same day and also ur ID card will be given the same day . Then u will hv to go to measurement of uniform , they will give u a card which u hv to keep safe because tht card is used to confirm ur uniform . The admission process is done with this This is a v good college .
Campus Life :
The campus life is very good ...most of student join here due to the infrastructure. It is very vast and much to explore ..the library is big and does provide a large variety of books . As we r tourism department we do organize trips , cesta which a program , avoli fest , food fest etc there r dance clubs, music clubs , art Clubs provided by the college . Interested students can join and arrange programs
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is average . 3 hostels r provided for girls and only one hostel is provided for boys The hostel food is just ok , not so good but can't manage. The rent is 5500(1000is rent and daily rate is 200 per day ) they do provide food for lunch and washing facilities, room is good . There r 4 bedroom room (common bathroom)and 6bed room (attached bathroom)
Admission :
I got. Addmission with help of Mahatma Gandhi University, you hv to apply there using this website and register once u got selected through allotment u will hv to go to college for admission. I also applied to Bharat mata college ,SH thevera , nirmala college in muvattupuzha nd chalakudy I did get admission in both nirmala college which is in chalakudy and muvattupuzha. I opted muvattupuzha because of its infrastructure and facilities importantance
Faculty :
The facility provided r great and service depend upon each department there r courses for 3 years and each year has 2 semster . In a sem we will hv two internal test and one sem exam .the internal mark depends on internal exam , notebook , assignment, and attendance
