- Placements : the placements stats are very good in MNNIT Allahabad, the average package is 16.77 lpa.
- College life: The clubs and societies here are very good and you can learn a lot by applying to various clubs and societies.
Dislikes
- Professor: Some of them are very serious and strict so it sometimes become hard to cooperate with them.
- Campus area: the area is too small so you get a limited area to roam around and you get less area for roam around with your girlfriend.
Course Curriculum Overview :
-> As this opens the field of both cse and ece core that's why I have chosen this branch. -> The curriculum is pre-defined and well-structured by the senior professor and HODs. -> After the new education policy(NEP) course structures are altered and now it's much better. -> In each semester two exams are there.
Internships Opportunities :
The Qualcomm company gave offer for six months intern and fte role. This company is in 30 countries of the world and more than 100000 employees work under them. The projects over which we will work is on AI/ML. And the software of the Qualcomm which is integrated with the hardware part of the company.
Placement Experience :
-> They become eligible in the 7th semester. -> Qualcomm, Oracle, Samsung, Bajaj, Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, Citi, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Apple, Texas, TCS, Infosys, IBM, etc. -> The average package here is 16.77 lpa. -> approx 90% of students get placed after the complete placement session. -> Doing the job and making a big startup.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year-wise fee for the students having a family income between 1 lac and 5 lac is: 51833/- per semester. Tutuion fee -> 20,833 Caution Money -> 5000 (one time) Hostel fee -> 12000 per sem Institute fee -> 19000 => For SC/ST and those whose family income is less than 1 lakh the tuition fee is no tuition fee, only the fee per semester is 31,000. Scholarships for families whose income is low, for them scholarships are provided. We can definitely avail various government scholarships for which we are eligible.
Campus Life :
Culrav: cultural event of our college in which various celebrities like Mohit Chauhan come and give their performances, Comedian like Rajat Chauhan and many others come and Bands like Nalayak Band visited last time for this event. Avishkar: Technical Annual event of our college in which various coding and web development competitions are held and there is a very large pool of prizes for the winners. Library: Greatest Library with lac books. Sports: Various inter NIT competitions. Dramatics Club: I am the coordinator of this club, this is the best club.
Hostel Facilities :
In each room, there is a single table and a chair is provided, a lamp bulb is provided and a tea table is provided. Meal quality is very good, Amul ghee and Fortune Oils are used here. -> Hostel fee is 12k per semester which is affordable by anyone. and Hostel facilities are very good. -> The registration process is very easy only a form is needed to be submitted along with the payment receipt.
Admission :
->I applied to BIT MESRA, Ranchi, and I withdrew from there as the fee was too high. ->No. I didn't get rejections from other colleges. -> The only exam through which admission happens is JEE MAINS, and the percentile is the deciding factor for your admission to the college. -> If your CRL Rank is below 9k, you can easily get ECE here.
Faculty :
->In the ECE branch there are 40 professors in total and a number of students per batch is 180. Professors are supportive and cooperative. -> Sahadev Padhey Sir as he is very knowledgeable and very calm and a great faculty. -> P.K Dutta as he is very strict. -> two exams per semester 1) Mid Sem: 20 marks paper (easy to medium difficulty). 2) End Sem: 60 marks( medium to hard) and 20 marks internal.
