Likes

Auditorium for Various events is a good thing, plus swimming pool in this college was not expected but is fun.
Sports complex is the major attractions of the college and cricket ground is so big and surrounded by nature, it's peaceful even walking there.

Dislikes

Swimming pool should be applicable to everyone and everytime.
Roads are damaged , it should be fixed. The Campus Director should worry about it and take immediate action on it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I didn't had any idea about curriculum before joining the Institute. Every Institute follow different curriculum according to University. The curriculum is not well designed for real-world applications, they will include the word 'THEORY' but the theory of subject will be only of 2 marks. The university should interact with company to know their expectations and change the curriculum accordingly. The frequency and timing of exam along with my perspective is good, college provide students with sufficient amount of time before exam for preparation but the writing work is the work load for students.

Internships Opportunities :

College provides PBL(project based learning) activities in group which is innovative but useless. Internships are not provided completely, if you want internship, go find it yourself but if you are skilled enough, college can help you out. The stipend for internship is around 6-15 thousand. The role of internship is according to your branch and your skill and experience in that particular field .

Placement Experience :

Placements are good. Nearly 70-80 percent of students with skills are Placed. From 5th Semester students become eligible for campus placements. Google, Microsoft, IBM, Amazon, Mahindra, Tata, BYJU's are the various companies which come for hiring. Average package is of 3.5 LPA and Highest package is of 12 LPA. Many students plan after Degree is higher studies , Civil services, Startup etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Campus is Awesome. College provides various facilities for students like Swimming Pool, Auditorium, Reading Hall, Boxing Hall, Badminton Hall, Basketball ground etc. Hostel are pretty much good but not good as D.Y. Patil pune. Placements are amazing. The highest Placement of Sinhgad Institute was of 35 LPA. Staff is friendly and supportive. They have various clubs for various Activities. It is a Anti-ragging College. Seniors are like siblings here. At last , college is good but please don't take admission here, You will regret it later. Opt for Pune or Mumbai, you will have better college life there.yearly fees is 1,30,000 for general Category. For SC and ST it's less than 15,000. And for Management you have to pay General Category fees plus additional 1-2 lakhs. You can also get scholarships but if you are From Management Quota, scholarships are not applicable.

Campus Life :

Campus life is good here, but college management put lots of restrictions here. Surbhi , karandak , freshers, Induction and farewell are very much appreciated and celebrated. Library provide large and every type of books and journals. Facilities for students are good, multiple seminars halls, projectors, online interactions etc . There are various Clubs in College like CCC ( Career Counselling Centre) Club , ACES ( the club for only one department and few meaningful and educational events) , IIC (for only 3 main things - Cinematography, Entrepreneurship and Robotics and they don't motivate students in this sector) and all other clubs are only for name who crave for events and attention, who don't even know their role and Aim.

Hostel Facilities :

Their are 4 students in one room, with attached toilet and bathroom plus a Basin. Cleaning is done every 2-3 days. And Hostel attendance is compulsory. Meal quality is Consumable. Menu is normal 2 sabji, 1 dal, unlimited roti's and rice. Hostel fees is only 60,000 which is cheap cause it provides 24/7 water and electricity, RO filtered water, hot water in Bathroom, study tables and rack . If you need PG it's near the campus , but I will suggest have a room , it's way more affordable and comfortable.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

I applied to many other colleges including COEP, D.Y.Patil , PCCOE, Symbiosis, MIT and then to Sinhgad institutes. I was not qualified their back cause I got only 79 percentile in JEE mains. I choose this college for better college life, Campus and Placements. I got this college from all three cap rounds. The admission process is very simple like every other colleges. Exams prefferd in this college is MH-CET and JEE.

Faculty :

Faculty is open minded and friendly but once you piss them off, your internals are gone. They will take revenge and taunt you and spread shit about you to students as well as staff. Exams are mediocre but you have to study hard. Some subjects are very tough.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
