- The students who came here to study are from all over India thus that helps an individual to development his/her personality

- The hostels for the first year students could have been better , the rooms are very small ideally to accommodate only a single person.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a keen interest in Electronics & Communication Engineering however due to some circumstances I couldn't get into the department , however I firmly believe the the course fees should be reduced as it is India's number 1 GFTI however it's fees is like a proper private college
Internships Opportunities :
There are several off campus internship opportunities from the first year itself however BIT Mesra provides on campus internship opportunities from 3 year and I've seen BIT Mesra calling their alumnae who are having a starting to provide internship opportunities for the Bit mesra students
Placement Experience :
As per my knowledge the average placement of my college is around 12 LPA ,the package of my department i.e. chemical engineering is around 8 LPA as mentioned in the website and I've asked some seniors about the off campus placement and I've known that Bit mesra don't add the off campus placement into their placement statistics , the companies that I know visited the campus for placement as per my seniors and faculties are Amex , Adobe , Genpact , Goldman Sachs , Google , Microsoft , Visa and even College Dunia
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If we remove the one time fees we pay i.e. around 90k , we have increasing institute fees which is 161.5k per semester for the first year going upto 214k per semester during the last year which sums up to approximately 15 lakhs for 4 years , on top of this we have a mess fees of 30k per semester accounting to a total of 2.4 lakhs for a total of 4 years and there is another hostel fees which is increasing every year starting from 20k going upto 26k an increase of 2k every year accounting to almost 1.84 lakhs , accumulating everything we get a total of 20 lakhs for a BTech program
Campus Life :
The campus is pretty solid , an individual can grow pretty easily here as people here are very socialising and supporting , the library is top notch equipped with a lot of books and journals . The classrooms are very modern . The sports complex is very good with enough courts for everyone to play , there are very well to doing clubs in the campus which participates in national level competition and winning them as well. An individual will definitely grow here while living 4 years.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels for the freshers are pretty basic and bad as there are 2 persons living in a room which was designed for 1 person . The quality of mess is pretty okay , a few foods have a very good taste like the chicken biryani , the hostel has a pretty reasonable accommodation rate not exceeding 26k for 6 months
Admission :
My addmission in BIT Mesra was through the JEE Mains, I got a rank and on the basis of it I had some college options like BIT Mesra and NIAMT Ranchi ( previously known as NIFFT) I had NIAMT on my preference order however BIT Mesra was higher on the list due to which I got accepted into BIT Mesra, I had also applied for NIT Jamshedpur however my JEE mains rank wasn't enough to carry me to NIT Jamshedpur.
Faculty :
The exam pattern of this institute is pretty basic 2 quizzes of 10 marks each in a semester then a 5 marks assignment then a mid term examination of 25 marks and finally an end term examination of 50 marks , the faculties as of now are pretty good and particularly Mr. Mrinal Pathak Assistant Professor ( Department of Architecture ) is an all rounder and a very outgoing person.
Other Applied Colleges
National Institute of Technology - [NIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Civil Engineering)
My rank was lower than the cutoff
