Remarks :

Overall the management of the college is very nice, they are very helpful and never make us feel like an outsider, in spite of being from other states I feel like Shoolini is my second home. One thing I would like to mention is that the university is increasing the expenses very frequently after every semester which I don't feel good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The exam structure being followed in Shoolini is a bit hectic because we have to give 2 sessionals examinations and 4-5 assignments and then quizzes, sprint program and one end term examination at the end of every semester. Yes, all these courses are making us professionally better before entering the real professional world.

Placement Experience :

Well, our university is very popular among the people as well as students for its placement records. It has got good tie-up with reputed companies like Marsh India, Nestle, Bank of America and many other so in terms of placements this university performs undoubtedly outstanding whereas in terms of internship for bachelor it's performance is average because it is not able to attract good companies with stipend for bachelor students, who hat is the only thing I feel should be improved.

College Events :

Moksha, Inter-department competition, SPRINT, Saksham Dance competition, Inter-University sports Tournament, Inter-department sports tournament Sports Meet, Guest Lectures of people like Yuvraj Singh, Milkha Singh, Major Kuldeep SINGH Chand Puri and many more

Fee Structure And Facilities :

30,300 per semester - Tuition fees 46,000 per semester - Hostel fees

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Not given any scholarship by the university except 10% on tuition fees for the first year which was for scoring 93% in class 12.

Campus Life :

Gender ration is approx. 50-50. Labs are well equipped with the required stuff but sports condition is very poor. Lack of cricket grounds, football grounds, and many other sports are not introduced in this university

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are not good at all, food quality is average, there is no source of entertainment in hostel like games (table tennis, chess, Carrom), frequent electricity cuts specially during exams, lack of generator power supply and many other like non-availability of safe drinking water in hostels, hostelers facing medical issues due to unhealthy water supply.

Admission :

My sister did her MBA from this university and then after completing my 12, I was looking for good colleges and then through online admission advertisement, I came to know about this university in May , I applied for this and then got few calls in June from the faculty and then I was selected for the BCom (Hons) course and I joined this elite campus in August 2017.

Faculty :

The faculty of our college is well qualified and equipped with all the latest information about the happenings in our surroundings. They always try to focus on practical knowledge rather than making us cram things. They know what's important for the students do they try to keep those subjects in our courses which can help us in our future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would have loved it if we were given more group projects or something And would also loved it if some practical activities were held for our batch, Maybe also if we were taught how to work in the private sector and what are some responsibilities related to it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue my interests in business as well as in finance. That's why I chose this subject. The teachers are all PHD holders with good teaching methods. There is a yearly system in Himachal Pradesh University, and if you work hard, it's not tough to crack the mid-terms and finals.

Placement: Placements are done every year. They invite multiple types of companies to conduct placement and interviews. Everyone gets the chance to give placement. The University undertakes some other activities to boost students’ confidence through its Placement Cell, which works continuously for the final year students and takes them through a rigorous and intensive skill development SPRINT.
