What Students Say

Likes

I liked the infrastructure and laboratory in our college
And the basic facilities they provide and the management encourages all kind of entertainment and events.The college union is always on top for organising different events
The faculties,even the guest lecturers are so good and well experienced

Dislikes

I didnt like the college hostel facilities especially mens hostel
There are dogs and cows roaming around the campus which a littld bit discomfort to many students
Canteen is sl basic and sometimes food will be out of stock very fastly

Course Curriculum Overview

As the college is affiliated to KTU,the syllabus and the formalities are going as scheduled and the exams and results will be on time as per the schedule.It includes both practical and theoretical information enough and the labs help to get more into handson training

Class Size: 2Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College ensures all students do internships.As per KTU curriculm ylu should achieve 100 activity points which can be get by doing internships.And the tutors are so helpful also.For everyndept there are so many internship opportunities around the city and college have good relationship with so many reputed companies

Placement Experience

Students will get placement training from third year onwards and it'll be in 4th yr also.Every year college provides maximum number of placement opportunities and there were 50+ companies last year.They train the students placement oriented.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 8k per year, it'll be collected as exam fee and course fee which will be around 5k & 3k respectively.There will be no additional fees to the university.At the time of admission there will be some caution deposit and library fees

Campus Life

There are many cultural activities and clubs which will improve your social interaction skills and helps to overcome your social anxiety.And I do like the infrastructure which will help every student to involve in communities and groups

Hostel Facilities

Badically I didn't like the Mens hostel.food is one of the best available in the college locality.But the basic facilities as Toilet and Water purifier is so bad in some blocks.And there will be establishment fees which we should pay even if we are abscent in whole month

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

Admission is usually done through KEAM entrance.You should get atleast 20k rank to get the least demanded course in the college.As the college is aidex you can avail the reservation if you're eligible.

Faculty

The faculties are very well qualified and experienced.Even the guest lecturers are good and experienced.All faculties have very good knowledge in their subjects and the lab assistants are supporting and doing great in their positions

Reflections on the Journey of College Life

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students will be eligible for campus placements Comapnies visited are Walkaro , Talrop. L & T , Infosys, Viseton etc. Mainly software comapnies are visiting for placement drives. An avaerge of 4 lakhs per annum are provided by the companies and the number of offers made are very less as compared to other colleges. Percentile of students getting placements are very less. Plans after Btech is cracking GATE.

the placement in our college is very much good.there is a placement cell in our college.mainly the placement offers are more for computer science department.the students will be eligible for campus placements from sixth semester itself.the companies will be visiting the college and they will be interviewing us.the college will provide placement training from fourth semester itself.the major companies coming here for placement are ust global,tata elxsi, experion technology ,qburst, bnm solutions,federal bank,pentagon space pvt limited etc.the highest offer made in 2024 is 8 lpa.average percentage of students getting placed in computer science department is around 45 percentage.it is very less in other departments.

Infosys, technopark are the main companies visited here and give more than 100 opportunities per year..an average package of 40000/year is offered by most of the companies. Computer science Students got more opportunities in campus placement because IT companies are offered more job opportunities. Campus placement is very less for civil engineering studens and mechanical engineering students.. about 20-40 percentage of students here got job opportunities through campus placement from here. My plan after getting the BTech digree is for doing Mtech.

A honest review on NSSCE Palakkad

For admission,you have to write KEAM examination amd secure a decdnt rank as this is one of the most demanded colleges in kerala.You have to appear in allotment process and join if you gets tge allotment.The admission procedure was so smooth and as per KEAM rules. The course Instrumentation and control was available in very few colleges in kerala and this is the only government institution provides this particular course.
