For bit mesra the campus is the best thing. The college has a very lush green campus of 780 acres with all the facilities which peoples expect from a very good college.
The sports complex in the college is also next level and the sports equipment are also nice. There are 34 clubs in the college which is a very big deal and some of them are working from 1955 time.

The fees of college is pity much high. You can expect 20 lakh expenditure for btech course.
In college the attendance is very much strict and it is mandatory to keep 75 percentage attendance, And that also include your medical leaves

Course Curriculum Overview :

As course relevancy is considered bit Is following the standard curriculum designed and it is constantly improving the syllabus, but the things can be made more better. They can be more placement orientated.exam difficulty is moderate,quizzes are easy

Internships Opportunities :

Bit mesra provide very good internship opportunity to students. Students can sit in interview for internship at the end of second year which is a two month paid internship. Also student get a six month compulsory internship.

Placement Experience :

In case of placement bit is among the top colleges of the country.Students are eligible for campus internship in second year and placement in 3rd years end. Almost every dream company like Google Microsoft Amazon Flipkart Samsung Adobe and 200+ companies visit campus for placement.the average pakage of college is 11 to 12 lakhs. It can go arround 120 lakh for CSE and 16 lakh for ECE.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fees of institute is 1584000 for complete btech course which include all caution fees and advance payments and this fees is same for all categories. You can easily get scholarship if you are from Sc and st categories.Also merit cum need based scholarship present on cgpa basis known as gp Birla scholarship. The scholarship amount is different for peoples on basis of cgpa.

Campus Life :

Bit mesra has a very nice campus life in a very big 780 acre lush green campus. They have clubs related to every activity that a college student think of.the fest of bit mesra name BITOTSAV organised in March. Tech fest name Pantheon tech organised in October month.Also inter hostel spot tournaments occur. Athletic meet is organised in January.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels accommodation is compulsory for all bit students.in hostels wifi is given.2 beds 1 table chair is given . Hostels are very much clean and well managed. Students also get badminton court, volleyball court, table tennis room and common tv room.

Hostel Fee : INR 45000 per year

Admission :

For me on the basis of my rank in jee mains i were getting admission in nits , over them I choose bit mesra due to their high reputation and brand name in industry. Also the connectivity of Ranchi is good and it is a nice city to live.Student can take admission here by their jee mains rank there is no management quota in college.

Faculty :

Faculty student ratio is quite very good institute provide detailed information about the ratio on website. for me my favourite professor is Dr Sanjay kumar who is the HOD of ECE department. He has amazing teaching skills and very good behaviour also. No professor is bad but some are strict.in exam we have 2 quizzes mid sem and end sem exams.

BIT MESRA : Dream of many students

Placement Experience:

from 7th sem students gets eligible for the placement.. the companies are isro , larsen and turbo , jaypee , adani , itc trebeni , avtec , acc , bharti infratel , blue star , ntpc , crompton , cummins and many other companies the placement percentage is around 61% in production and in cse the 75%,, my plans are doing job after the placement is to accumulate capital for few years and after that i want to start my own business..

Yes campus placement is offered Placements was nice in 2023 but, it 2024 due to recession it went downhill Talking about 2023 stats Around 130 offers Highest 83 lpa Average package was around 16-17 lpa Placement percentage - 85-90% In 2024 Total 50 offers Highest package 28 lpa Avg 9.2 lpa This year things are slightly getting better companies have visited and given offers to students some direct offers and some internships Internships are in the fourth year. My plan is to get a high paying job after 1-2 years of experience MBA from a reputed college if necesaary.

Placement Experience:

Yes placements are there but not as much as good than Top NITs/IITs. This colleges gives you double of the money which you will invest in your 4 yr of B.Tech. Mainly 80% of students get placed with 8.5Lpa average ctc and get upto 55Lpa if you manages to crack MNCs for tech.

To be honest everywhere

I have a huge interest in the field of technology that's why I selected engineering. The ratio of faculty and students is nearly the same bcoz my College is a newly open College.
