This curriculam consists of a current trends and applications such as nanotechnology and green chemistry and also Industry revelance. There is a foundational knowledge which deals with core concepts. It also deals skill development such as analytical skills and laboratory techniques There is a integration and continuity that is interdisciplinary connections. They provide resources and materials.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Hello, I am Prema comoleted masrers in chemistry. I completed my ug degree in holy cross college. I studied in self financed coarse. For a semester i paid maximum of 15000 to 17000. I also done many coarses ie., extra curricular activities like photogaraphy and acupressure etc. Per semester a course should be completed. These are called as certificate courses. My friends in aided course will pay 8000 to 10000 per semester. There is a hostel inside. We pay maintanence fees of 10000 and monthy mess fees ranges from 1500 to 2000. I completed my pg in bishop heber college. The same self financed course. The fees ranges from 15000 to 17000 per semester. Overall a affordable and worth course colleges i have choosen.
Campus Life :
I studied in two colleges both has a similarity. Both are located in trichy. I completed my undergraduation in holycross college. It is a friendly campus. Yearly once they will conduct a fine arts programs which contains competetions among different departments and In the same way in my pg that is bishop heber college in trichy. There will be a department function that is chem champ conducted once in a year. The academic life in both colleges was very good. I had good professors and mentorship. I had participated in cluns like ncc and yrc etc. In may seminars and workshops Overall i had a good time and skill development.
Admission :
Main reason to choose this college js because of easily available transport facilities which is easy for me to go to college. This college gives best curriculam amd education. It is a platform to develop skills. Admission process consisting of online application and attending entrance exams. After got selected in entrance, it proceeds to other formalities like fees payment etc.
Faculty :
There are 4 semesters and each semester contains one exam. Each exam conducted for 75 marks. There are 20 one marks and 5 five marks and 3 ten marks. First semester contains three main papers. They are inorganic chemistry , organic chemistry, and physical chemistry. There is one major elective paper named frontiers areas of chemistry. 2nd semester contains 3 main papers. They are inorganic chemistry , organic chemistry and physical chemistry. There is one paper named ethics. 3rd semester contains 2 main paper that is group theory and spectroscopy and organic spectroscopy and elective paper called bioinorganic chemistry and the last semester contains inorganic spectroscopy as main paper and two elective paper. They are drug discovery and soil analysis. Each semester a practical paper and last semester contains a project which have final viva examination.
