- Good diversity, lots of ways to interact with different people
- Infrastructure is amazing. You can do anything here. There are sports facilities and libraries and good classrooms
Dislikes
- The weather is very humid and irritable.
- You can easily get distracted in manipal.
Course Curriculum Overview :
1) good course which tests your understanding and comprehension. 2) it prepares you well got real world applications and other academic pursuits 3) exams happen almost every 3 months. There is plenty of time for preparation and quizzes are held weekly.
Internships Opportunities :
1) there are many MNCs which visit the company for placements. 2) I'm in the second year and so do not have such a good idea on placements 3) there are plenty of opportunities to master projects and put them on your cv through student projects.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1) Course fees: 1st year: Rs.3,35,000 2,3,4th year: Rs.5,00,000 each Total fees: Rs.18,50,000 2) Hostel fee (if opting for it): Rs.1,75,000 per year (depending on type of room chosen) 3) The course fees would most likely remain the same. Although, the hostel fee has a tendency to increase in the future.
Campus Life :
1) there are many technolgical and extra-curricular clubs which we can join. 2) there are around 40+ clubs which one can join catering to the various interests of the students. 3) there are both clubs as well as student projects, the latter of which is a bit more serious and time consuming for members.
Hostel Facilities :
1) we have an option for AC/nonAc 2) we can choose whether it will be a single or double room 3) the mess food is relatively good. But it gets repetitive and could be better. 5) registeration process is all done online and I didn't go through any difficulties.
Admission :
1) had to give MET, Manipal entrance test for admission. 2) all the details can be found online through the official portal or third party websites. 3) it was pretty easy to book a slot for the examination and the process went smoothly.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is nice, not that bad. If we have anything to ask, we can always approach the faculty and they mostly always help us in our queries. The faculty is very credible. Most of them have PhDs in their respective fields and are qualified.
