  • There are strict rules on attendance and other aspects.
  • Some classes were less organised but now they are getting better

Course Curriculum Overview :

Special aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose the course is the availability of honours degree, encouragement of research, exposure to conferences and seminars, exposure to diverse cultures etc. Exams and assesments are well organised. There are four assessments that will contribute to one's gpa in a semester. The difficulty level is moderate to high. Recieving high marks is hard. You will have to work on projects and exams. Sometimes it gets very hectic and stressful but it trains us for real world competition and expertise.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are there. For example, there was a collaboration with Inspiron for psychology students. Opportunities are also available in Christ Consultancy Cell which can get you trained well for real world career management. You can also start startups if you have an innovative idea through Christ Incubation Cell.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The year fee I pay is 1,30,000 rupees per year. For fourth year, i.e. honours, the fee is 1,45,000 rupees. Application fee to the university is 1500 rupees. May vary according to courses. The registration fee is 5000 rupees in first year.

Campus Life :

Many spectacular events occur in a year. To list out, novatos (fresher's day), darpan (two weeks long fest showcasing all art forms and talents, anyone can participate and winners will get cash prizes), kaleido (flagship event of psychology), Magnificat ( Huge choir event), Magnovite (Huge event inviting all colleges to participate for technical competitions and art forms), Blossoms (Two weeks fest like darpan but winners get to go to central campus and perform and win cash prizes), Sound curry (Singing event), Nritta (dance event). We have a great library with a lot of books, journals and subscriptions. References for all subjects and fiction are available.Classrooms and labs are well equipped. Many lab devices are available. Sports and extracurriculars are extremely appreciated. Events occur all along the year. Clubs are there for literally every skill and art form. Some sports events are Tiger 5 and Devdan Cup. A huge number of student led groups and clubs are there.

Hostel Facilities :

In Kengeri Campus, hostel inside campus is only available for girls from architecture and MBA department and boys of every department. Meals are available in canteens. There are 5 canteens with a variety of option, good food, very affordable. Many hostels, pgs, apartments are available outside campus.

Admission :

You should have minimum 50% in your twelfth board exams. You should pass the entrance test and interview for selection. You can access the application form from the University website under admission portal. The application for each academic year opens from roughly December to February and ends between June and July. Entrance exam difficulty level is easy to medium. Some courses does not have entrance exam. If you are confident during interview, that is a huge plus point. Interview matters a lot. You should follow all the rules for both. if interview was online, it could have been better because people from different states of India and other countries apply. It will be easier for them to access then.

Faculty :

All the faculty have excellent qualifications. Majority has a doctorate degree in their fields. The classes mainly by presenting slides, showing videos, conducting activies and discussions etc. All the teachers in our department are very approachable. They are always ready to answer your doubts or even give you a safe space to open up especially because they are psychology professionals. The classes are good. Research is well encouraged and appreciated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for BSc is simply the extended version of 11th and 12th standard portions in the first year. It includes the same concepts and the teaching method is rather ordinary and boring and doesn't seem to focus on making the students live the subject but is rather focussed on marks and other upcoming exams. A teacher kept insisting us to do certain problems skipping the others considering the factory that it is very important for a exam after UG. She also stated that everyone are most likely to take up teaching as a job after this which shows how narrow minded and shallow the opinions and minds of the teachers are. This amounts for a greater level of discouragement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of this course is very interesting and matched what I wanted to do so I decided to do this course. It prepares us really good as we study more about the real life scenarios. It would be better if we do more practical things rather than the theory

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I have chosen gives a good scope in the real world and really prepares us well with the lab practicals. Honestly the course teaching could be improved with changing the black board to a interactive learning panel. Exams usually only come twice in a semester and the difficulty depends on how much you understand in the class, an average student can easily pass the exams without studying.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Rehabilitation science main focuses on restoring health in individuals ( accident, tauma injury and persons with special needs), this college provides practical exposure like experiencing how individuals, with loco motor disability and blind, navigatw and interact. There are 2 internals each semester which makes it easier to prepare for semester exams. The main aspect the college could improve is the frequence of internship and placement.

Placement Experience:

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.
