Course Curriculum Overview :

i have chooosen this cource and college for being outside my native place and learn klanguages for sake of my future and in interest with rural camps. but our camp and everthing was so poor. exposure was only given in academics, not in any other ways. field visiits are not here, in second semester we went for fieldwork in our vaccation time that too in our native due to language barrier, but we could have sorted out this if they are taking us for field visit.

Internships Opportunities :

Time for Interships are given in 3rd semester in our department which we have to find our own i am still searching and i dont know much about this. we have to go for intership to collect data for our dessertation. and nothing much is on internship . till i havent goen for anything.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee of the two years are divided as even and odd semesters. odd semester fees are comparativelly larger than the even semester fee. i have paid 12992 when i joined here as first odd sem fee and this time in 3rd semester that is next odd semester fee is 10250. the fee i paid at 2nd semester was 8954.

Campus Life :

ankur is the annual fets including both cultural and sports fest regarding all the departments compettiotions. departments are again categorized under the schools and the competitions are held between the schools. fest are being conducted by each department where other stidents can come and particpate. but still even this is a residential capus the limitations are high

Hostel Facilities :

hostel accomodation are very poor in comparing with the fee they charges. in one room we 4 are accomodated and there is no space for 4 cuboards and tables and chairs we share the cubboard and bunkers are there in the rooom, the room roof are craacked and water is faaliing through down in several rooms. water is coming out of the shelfs. menu quality is very poor each one of us having problem every day or other, like loose motion vomiting, even when i am r=writing now i am having it and my classes are miisedd.

Admission :

any degree can apply for msw in any campus all over the world, application was submitted through samarth portal and fee ws also paid an amount of 1000 rs i guess i dont remember since its being one month. the selected list was published with in 4 times and i have got seat in NSS quota. The reservations are based on SC ST OBC and EWS .

Faculty :

teachers in our departments are sweet and approachable but still there are few faculties who even consider us as highschool students interfering in all our matters. the teaching qualities are good there are three proffessors and three asst. proffessors in the dept, contractual faculties are also there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some papers need to be updated and should include topic related to current issues and more discussions are need to be conducted in the classroom that improves the critical thinking of the students. For Social Work course field exposure is very relevant and important to increase the knowledge of the trainee. But the department is not providing any field exposure to the trainees according to their specializations. The only field experience students are getting from the one month block placement/ internship, but that is not enough for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is stick on to the outdated syllabus. Practical experience is missing. Theoretical knowledge is getting but practice is missing there. In this competitive world, we can't survive with this basic knowledge. Technological advancements are lacking and we are poor in managing it.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, the students become eligible for campus selection and students are given support from the faculty members to join certain NGOs to work with. This makes the students develop their skills and learn new things by working with them. Students often end up working with these NGOs after finding the experience with them as productive. But Christ doesn't have many placements for the MSW course.
