In the central university of karnataka i liked the demographic structure it is a wide campus, i studied my ug in a small college so i cannot explore that much in my ug time but pg i was exploring the ecofriendly campus
I like the academic through that academic i am able to study a lot improvement

Things i dislike is the food they provided in the mess

Course Curriculum Overview :

The central university of Karnataka, they have a particular curriculum for every department. They conduct two sections of internal fir evaluating the perception capacity of the student. They publish an academic calendar in which they provide all the leave and internship details.

Class Size : 28Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are provided by the central university of karnataka. The internship for each course were different. The msw course have internship and field work in 4 semester and mba have one internship fir the whole semester. Internship were allowed to the choice of the students because of language barrier.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am a second-year MSW student at Central University of Karnataka and comparatively Central University if Karnataka charges fees than other central universities also the students have scholarships like NSP for obc and other scholarships for every other caste student. For the first year 20000rs for the MSW course and the fees are less for SC and ST students compared to the obc students.

Campus Life :

Overall experience in the college was quite good but there was no club or social group or student portal for students. The faculties were friendly to the students and the university used a high level of technology using while teaching.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility in the central university of karnataka was not much satisfied because they are providing low quality food and have sane menu for every week and hostel facility also not good as compared to other central university.

Hostel Fee : INR 35000 per year

Admission :

The admission process for our batch was perfect it full setup through online and students have to write cuet entrance exam and score the expected mark of the university and every year the mark limits will change by the university.

Faculty :

In the central university of Karnataka, I know about the msw department the faculty tech half portion of the syllabus to the students and other the students gave to cover their own assignment. This improves the skills in students.

Unlocking the Real World: CUK

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some papers need to be updated and should include topic related to current issues and more discussions are need to be conducted in the classroom that improves the critical thinking of the students. For Social Work course field exposure is very relevant and important to increase the knowledge of the trainee. But the department is not providing any field exposure to the trainees according to their specializations. The only field experience students are getting from the one month block placement/ internship, but that is not enough for the students.

Placement Experience:

By the End of 4th semester the students attending the campus placement and also many students have placed during the year 2023 in various respective organisations in all over the India and the university also have a wider range of alumni association who are working all over the world and the percentage of students getting placement is about 10 to 20 percentage in a year

Realities of CUK

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is stick on to the outdated syllabus. Practical experience is missing. Theoretical knowledge is getting but practice is missing there. In this competitive world, we can't survive with this basic knowledge. Technological advancements are lacking and we are poor in managing it.

Tour of CU in the field of MSW

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, the students become eligible for campus selection and students are given support from the faculty members to join certain NGOs to work with. This makes the students develop their skills and learn new things by working with them. Students often end up working with these NGOs after finding the experience with them as productive. But Christ doesn't have many placements for the MSW course.

Remarks:

The university atmosphere is very nice and tge The university atmosphere is very nice and the and the Structure of the university is really awesome. The March and April time weather is not that much good , very hot around a 45° celsius hot. The administrative section Is not properly working.
