Local language that is bengali is very common all around the campus and hostel which becomes difficult for non Bengali students.
For training you have to face some difficult because the didn't allow easily

Course Curriculum Overview :

My keen interest and the nice college with good faculty influenced me to choose a B.tech in Food Technology course. Mine course is so real that without it humans can live as food is an essential part of the body and the busy world needs nutrition and safe food and this course totally depends on this. The only improvement in this course is to improve industrial training. Time was conducted on time and the question was moderate to difficult level.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 597900 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Dream Bake private limited internship is offered with 10000 per month Project was on Quality and production department. Outcome was good as students gets the chance toh look over the Above department closely and practical.

Placement Experience :

From semester 6 students become eligible for placement. ITC Ltd, Nestle, Anmol, PepsiCo, Winkies Visited. Profile offered is in Quality Control, Quality Analyst, R and D officer. The highest package is 4 lakh yearly and the average is of 2.5 lakh My plans after degree is a job

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution play barely increase Cost of my education is 4 lakh and 2 lakh is hostel fees State wise scholarship is there. Campus placement I have taken in Anmol Industries Limited as Quality Control Officer

Campus Life :

Annual festival is tech fest and food fest. Library is full of books and new journal and easily available . Smart classroom with all machinery. Sport annual meet is held between inter college campus and extracurricular activities is best . Student run club

Admission :

The eligibility is that you should have given West Bengal Engineering entrance exam and must be higher secondary passed. Application form available online at college site. Frequency of exam is yearly and level is moderate to difficult.

Faculty :

The relationship between faculty and students was good and friendly. Teachers clear the concept and then move on to a new session. Students can approach the faculty easily. Students can interact with the teachers when they are free and if in urgency students can meet them at any time.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
