Remarks :

Good college with experienced and helpful faculty. The library is good. The extracurricular activities are present and the labs are up-to-date with modern amenities. The placement is moderate and the fee structure is balanced.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is industry oriented. The exam occurs in 2 unit exams and one viva and one final written exam every semester. Every semester is 6 months long and the final exam occurs under the question set by makaut University.

Placement Experience :

The placement is not very good. Many IT companies including few MNC visit for campusing which generally occurs in pool format.Placement assistance mostly for computer streams. core sector campusing occurs but not that much.

College Events :

Many events take place including freshers and farewell celebration. Festivals like Saraswati puja and Vishwakarma puja takes place. Independence day, Republic day also is observed. Many cultural events are organized. The tech fest here is the best and many innovation events take place in which people from different colleges also join. It also acts as a center for Hackathon and international programming events.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It's balanced. Every semester u have to pay from 44 to 50 thousand for tuition fees and other facilities of the college. Except for studies the fees also cover soft skill training and skill development that help students become competitive.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is a scholarship available for meritorious students. AMPAI exam is held to determine this category. The loan is not available from the college, but the bank might help.TFW candidate for the joint exam also has most of the fee waivers. An extra 1000 to 1500 has to be paid to the board of university before exams as exam fee.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities happen a lot. There is a lot of cricket tournaments and football tournaments every semester. There are also annual sports and basketball and volleyball are also practiced. The labs are up to date with modern equipment.there is also a gym to stay fit.

Alumni/Alumna :

They are moderately helpful. Yearly interaction occurs between students and alumni is there to create a bond and develop a network for sharing experiences and getting required assistance if necessary. Besides this various renowned persons also visit to provide guidance on industry life.

Faculty :

The best faculty teaches and guides everyone. Help anytime to solve queries. Strict regarding attendance and discipline, but supports and encourages innovative activities. The assistant staff like librarian and lab assistant also gives the required help

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well developed and the major areas of learning are adequately addressed. It has prepared students for practice as well as for further education. I wanted to point at such aspects of teaching design that need to be developed : offerings of practical projects and a greater focus on interactive teaching methods. The students get eligible at 3rd year 6th sem. Though before that you can do internship or freelancing which will increase the weight of your profile. The percentage of student getting placement is around 60-70% and the average package is around 4-5lakhs per annum. The highest package got by a student previous year was around ?10lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
