Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course covers all the latest trends ongoing in the job market and offers good papers opting. Class tests are taken twice in a semester, along with two lab tests followed by a final written and lab exams. There are also assignments, we need to complete for each paper.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 86000 per year

Placement Experience :

3rd sem onwards placement starts. Very little company shows up. And even less offer something. To date, one came (PWC)for intership/training and gave to 7 B.Tech CSE students among hundreds. And the packages offered are too low for survival outside the hometown.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In 2023 for MCA it was 57k for admission and 1st sem, 44k for 2nd, 44k for 3rd, and 29k for 4th sem. Scholarships are provided and available. Merit-based Scholarship. Caste-based scholarships. Financial based.

Campus Life :

We had Prajuktam, a Coding contest. There are many books and journals accessible. The classrooms are well nice and have good facilities. Sports and cultural activities are good. Students run Google clubs and many other clubs which are really beneficial for boosting confidence.

Admission :

55% for GEN, need to have BCA , or physics, maths or logic as a subject in degree. Application can be found on official Website. (1k only) Application fees. And a Aptitude test is taken along with a PI.

Faculty :

The faculty-to-student ratio is good. 1 faculty for each subject and two for each lab paper. Each and every faculty member is well-experienced, has high qualifications, and has good mentorship skills. Interaction with faculty is too easy here. They are always available for their students. They are more like friends.

Interview Experience :

I had cleared one written test. As well as a PI before taking admission. I previously did some aptitude and practiced for some govt. Exams so I cleared it in a smooth way. Not so tough nor too easy. PI was good.

Pros and Cons of study in NERIM, Guwahati

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as it gives me an open field to explore in the software sector. There are 20 to 25 members of the faculty. Student ratio 2:1. All the faculty members are MCA and MSc IT holders. Some of them are Ph.D. holders as well. Their teaching method is very good. It works for me pretty well. There are one end-semester exam and two internal exams. The difficulty level is quite hard.

Knowledge In a friendly and Respectable Manner

Placement Experience:

From the final Year, Students are eligible for internship and pre-placement opportunities. Average salary package idls 5 to 7Lpa provided by various companies 70 per cent stufents get placements. The companies give good packages. The highest package goes above 10 Lakhs. The companies are like accenture, TCS. My plans are to go for Research Field in my respective domain

Remarks:

Entrance Preview:

MCA department internal entrance test.I choose this college because i wanted to study MCA and it is one of the premier college in entire North East.I got passed ot BCA so I choose to study MCA and after i ceared my entrance i got my chance.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities are not remarkable. They do arrange some of the placements recruitments but seeing the number of employees thats not enough what i feel. Also the all recruitment arrange by the recruitment cell only and very few faculties took part in that process in our time which is really horrible.
