Course Curriculum Overview :

I was more into computing and data, so i turned to computer application course. There could have been some improvements in the courss curriculum and teaching because of the sudden change in the syllabus. The frequency and timing of the exams are quite good.

Internships Opportunities :

A company named GLOWTOUCH Industries came in providing internship program for selecyed students. They were providing 6 months of internship with 15000 per month as stipend for the students. After the internship period selecred candidates are offered job in the same company.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements only started during the last semester. The one company which came for campus interview was a company called GLOWTOUCH Industries. The package the offered was 15k per month for an internship type job. Only a few students got the placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee increased each year in a drastic way. The course fee was around 1.2 laks per year and hostel fee was 80k per year. The number of scholarships and financial aid provided by college was very low and it was only for the students from the same state. There was only 1 campus interview in the 3 year course.

Campus Life :

There is only a limited number of occasions held in our campus. There is vast library in the campus with only a certain amount of books. Each year, a sports events is held. All the classroom is equipped with smart screens instead of boards and an announcement system is provided. There are different clubs in the campus and each of them conduct some programs sometimes.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are quite good comparing to tje campus. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning and seperate fans. The hostel mess food is quite good alike other college mess food in manglore. The hostel is not completely affordable to all the students but it is according to the college fee. If the students are in need of PG or rented accommodation, it is also available in the college surrounding.

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is PUC and nothing more. I was enrolled through an agency in my hometown so that i didn't do anything much. There is only a limited number of seats for each course. The exams are occured in a specific time table here. Each semester has 3 exams. 2 internals and 1 semester exams.

Faculty :

The faculty members were so friendly and kind hearted. The interaction with them is so great. All tha faculties are properly educated and well behaved. They presented excellent teaching methods and techniques.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall the course still now is quite good And my motive of choosing this specialization was firstly my interest in this field and secondly it's importance in the job market now.. But there are certain areas which can be improved..

Placement Experience:

As a former student of this institution, I am compelled to share my disillusioning experience. The college's brochure boasted impressive placement statistics, but the reality was starkly different. Out of 240 students in my batch, a mere 10-15 secured job placements, resulting in an abysmal placement ratio of approximately 4-6. This was a clear indication of the institution's failure to deliver on its promises. The brochure's claims of "excellent placement opportunities" and "top-notch companies" were nothing more than a marketing gimmick. Only one tech company visited our campus, offering a modest package of 3.6 LPA, while the remaining companies were sales-based with negligible packages that hardly justified the effort and investment put into earning a degree.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is very good. We get offers from companies like DE Shaw, Accenture, etc and the best part we have 100% placement. Students should not have any backlogs and they should have atleast 70% so they will be eligible to sit in the placements. And the process of placements starts from 3rd year i.e.5th sem

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester if they don't have any backlogs in any previous semesters. The companies that visited our campus was IBM, INFOSYS, CAPGEMI, etc.. The highest package offered was 7Lpa to 9LPA, THE average package offered was 3.5 to 5 Lpa and the lowest package offered was 2Lpa . The percentage of students getting placed depends upon the student, if he or she didn't have any backlogs in the previous semesters, but the percentage of the students getting placed was 50 to 60%. My plans after degree was to do work in. Software development firm, but now i am studying my masters from Manipal University of Jaipur.

Placement Experience:

Presidency college of a report, a placement rate with a majority of students, securing jobs before graduation college placement cell work, actively to connect students with the top employed in IT software data and it takes finance et cetera. Many well-known companies in Tech in finance, including Wipro, TCS, Accenture and cognizant are known to recruit from presidency College of and provide training sessions which include skill development in areas like aptitude, technical knowledge, coding and soft skills which can make a big difference in interviews. While average package from this college would be around 4.5 to 5 lakhs per annum. BCA students can expect to securing higher offers based on skills or specialisation, stating rules me include position such as junior developer, technical analyst, quality assurance

Placement Experience:

The students from the 5th semester are eligible for the campus placements. The companies that visit the campus are not so well known and mostly offer 4lpa package. The highest package offered by the companies in this college is 4lpa and the minimum is 2lpa. There is around 60% placement rate of the high scoring students Im planning to do the masters too after this degree.
