Course Curriculum Overview :

Computer Science Engineering (Data Science) is one if the best course.The course provides more placement offers with a decent salary package.We need to be updated about the topic as course is dealing with big datas and datas are updated day by day.

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 129000 per year

Placement Experience :

The college provides good placements.Many companies are available.Faculties helps the students for their placement process.Many great companies like TCS,infosys, cognizant,etc are visiting the college for placement.Around 60% students are getting placed every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure is feasible while considering other private colleges.3 types of seats are available:Merit, Management,NRI. Merit seat is around 80000 , management is around 125000 and NRI around 175000.Scholarships are provided for financially backward students.

Campus Life :

Campus provides arts fest named vipanchika or tech fest named igniz every year.There are other celebrations like arts day, union day,onam,etc.The college a very large library.Every type of sports events are conducted in the campus.Clubs like IEEE are available for the students to conduct events.

Hostel Facilities :

In hostel rooms are provided for a group of 3 students.Rooms provided are spacious and has a attached bathroom. Food provided in the mess is decent. Non veg is provided 4 times per week.Hostel fees is 2000 oer month and mess bill is payed seperate around 4000 rs .

Hostel Fee : INR 24000 per year

Admission :

3 types of seats are available: Merit, Management, NRI.Merit seats are allotted through KEAM entrance exam.Cut off for merit seat during 2021 admission for data science was around 31000.It will be better if the number of merit seats are increased.

Faculty :

Faculties are highly qualified and are very helpful.There are sufficient amount of faculties for the number of students.Teachers helps students in their projects, internships and placements.Teachers have a clear knowledge about their subjects.

Placement Experience:

Yes,Students will get placement from 7th semester.Many companies like Infosys,Wipro,TCS etc come for placement.Most of the companies hire in bulk from the college.Lowest CTC was 300k annually and highest CTC was 1000k annually.Almost 60 percentage students are got placed from here.Apart from placement many students prepare for all india exams like GATE,SSC JE etc

Very Good University to study

Placement Experience:

The students from S6 are eligible for placement. Almost all the companies are IT-related companies. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant and UST visit the campus every year and hire a huge number of students. The average package is 4LPA with the highest being at almost 30LPA. Almost 60% of staff are getting placed. The CGPU provide training for aptitude and technical tests Also, some students get offers from good universities for higher education

Best college for pursuing engineering degree

Placement Experience:

Campus placements starts generally from the seventh semester in the fourth year. Nehru institutions have a lot of hold with multinational companies so a lot of companies like TCS, BPL, Amazon are offering placements to students who have no back papers. The highest package offered by companies is 9lakhs per year and the average salary is 4000/month. Mainly placements are offered to computer science engineering students comparatively.

Seeing St. Thomas through my eyes

Placement Experience:

The only student from the 4th year was eligible for campus placements. Every year nearly 88% of students got placed. Our batch was also not an exception. Most jobs were taken up by cse stream followed by our stream. Companies visited included Infosys, Cognizant Technology Solutions,ITC Infotech, Odessa Technologies, and others. The highest package of 5 lakhs was offered by Infosys.Cts offered 4 lakhs highest. The average package offered to all was 3 lakhs per annum.ITC offered 3.6 lakhs per annum. My plan after getting a degree was to join the job of CTS. Then I had dreams of an MBA in the future if possible since it would attract higher packages in the future. Many friends of mine got double offers. There were offers from. Sonodyne, Vodafone also. Since I got a job already,I didn't seat for Vodafone. Vodafone also offered a handsome package of 4 lakhs per annum.ZTE operations also took few students from our college

Remarks:

CET is one of the top colleges in the country. Faculties are the best. The college has the best placement records too. The location of the college is good too. Various fests are conducted to boost the cultural and technical skills of the students. I opted this course because I liked the course and our college contain the best faculties too. And the lab has good facilities where you can learn a lot.

Government College Of Engineering Kannur for a first year student

Remarks:

Has a good infrastructure with lots of trees and plants. Natural lighting is available so no need of artificial lighting Doesn't have an elevator. So it would be a problem for people in wheel chair. Less parking facilities
