CGC Landran

Dislikes

  • Infrastructure is not that much good , but kaam chalaau like , also faculty is not that much Good , take lecture in a old fassion.
  • No new and currently technology is used while teaching

Course Curriculum Overview :

As Chandigarh group of colleges is affiliated with panjab technical university, so they curriculum is government decided which is too old and means never updated with the current technology. They fails the student to loot their money from reappears .

Internships Opportunities :

Generally cgc Landran did not provide the internship oppurties but help to get the one or the student him selves or her selves apply as individual . Also they make student payable internships available which is anyhow a scam .

Placement Experience :

Form the 6 th semester they can apply to various companies for the internship and placement opportunities. Also college have a placement council helps student in their placement and internships . About 40-60 percent student are placed in hyhe campus but this also matters on the skills of the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here is it is most affordable college in private sector , a total fees of 520000 is being paid for the 2023-27 term of my btech ai sa course . Fees wise it is just worth it you could get the degree and a job is under your skills that's all.

Campus Life :

Here in Chandigarh group of colleges campus life is good but only on the day time as here student are not allowed to out the hostel after 10 pm so no night life or food available after that . Talking about the group or clubs then , a lot of them are present you can join can anyone with any much hazel . Speer are sports department is present aims at national and international tournaments .

Admission :

The admission process is very simple you can get direct with the management quota or through the state counselling or on the basis of the 12 th percentage . This is the most easy and simple step , you can come the get all the details about the admission process from them.

Faculty :

Basically faculty having bechalors or a master degree , only a few have phd from good university. Faculty is not that much updated about the recent technologies they taught same as 10 years ago. Like they forced us to code on turbo cpp which is around 15-20 year old plate form.

Other Applied Colleges

CGC College of Engineering - [CGC COE] Landran | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Fees was low as compared to other private colleges with a decent olacement

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is good and differs in every course, the highest placement record is 45.5lpa which is going to be increased the number if companies visiting is also increasing which increases the number of placements and the average package is 8lpa. If I can't get a on campus placement then I will try for off campus placement. Students of final year of their course will be eligible for the placements if they fulfill the company putted criterias. As college promised the 100% placement but it is not right only some students were getting placed who have some extra skills and knowledge Various companies visited the college every year like Autodesk, Cisco, XPERI, Toki, Accenture, Edoofa, delta x, RT camp etc and provides a good number of placements

Placement Experience:

so every year different companies visit our campus and people from the fourth year are able to see for the placement. Firstly, we have to clear a written entrance test once clear that the company will interview them and get the job so the highest package last year went 25,00,00 per annum. However, the average package is six lakh per annum. It completely depends upon your CGPA and your personal skills, how much you groom yourself to be fit for that company. Tech and non-tech companies both visit.

Placement Experience:

If we have skills, we get placements here, and if we work hard, we can get up to 50 LPA. Most of the renowned companies will come for placements, for example, Microsoft, Google, etc. TCS will give a high number of job offers, but the package is low. It all depends on you and your skills. The placement percentage in Computer Science is about 80-90%, and the average is 7 LPA.

Placement Experience:

There were many companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Google, Wal-Mart and more than 800+ companies visited for campus placements. I will prefer for startup if I will not get the desirable placements offers.

I'm currently in the second year, so not that familiar with the placement process. But the average package is 11-12 LPA. The students are eligible for internships in 5th semester and eligible for placements in 7th semester.

Placement Experience:

CT University has best placement record till now. They have 400+ recruitment partners. Companies like byjus, paytm, infosys, max healthcare and capgemini have already recruited students from CT University. CTU also have corporate resource centre in ct university , to provide ample opportunities for full time internships, on job trainings and placement in reputed companies. Also, students are doing internships with stipends within the university also as CTU ambassadors along wwith theirt study, so this should be a good enough proof of the quality of the skills being imparted to the students.

The placements are good. A lot of companies like PayTm, Maruti Suzuki, etc come every year and recruit a large number of students. The placement process is of several rounds and tests. There is an Entrepreneur Cell that helps students enhance their skills.
