Entrance Preview :

IIT with 51 marks unfortunately i've not cleared the main entrance exam, also not attended any counselling, then my friend suggested this college and the result was satisfactory.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is almost good as the college belongs to the punjab technical university, hence the course syllabus for all the university is same around the country and it covers almost all the topics that are required for an engineer along with the practical knowledge of the subjects.

Placement Experience :

The overall placement depends upon the academic performance of the student and its keen interest in that particular field. It also depends upon the speaking fluency of the student and their knowledge. Many companies visit the campus offering atmost 22 lakh per annum with an average package of 2.5 lakh.

College Events :

The college organises various events which includes the participation of many students. Recently the fest name Parivartan was celebrated in our college. The college invited Ranjit Bawa and the Rock Band which made our day. Also the ACS members organised various functions which includes many participation from the college students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I do not have enough knowledge about the scholarship schemes but according to my understanding their is not much scholarship criteria for the general citizens. There shall be scholarship schemes for the SC and ST

Exam Structure :

Honestly i do not like the exam structure. There are around three sessionals occuring once in every 30 days along with many number of assignments and practicals which makes us tense. The sessionals breaks up the academic study portion. The syllabus is completed at the peak of the semester..

Faculty :

The faculty of the college is very cooperative. If the student having any issue can directly report to the registrar office at block2. They will try their best to solve the students matter. The teachers are also very nice. They try their best to make the student understand the topics regarding any subject and if the student still have the complain regarding any teacher.

The best out of best about iit ropar

Placement Experience:

From the third semester students become eligible for the placement like internships and main placements start at fourth year. companies like Wipro, HCl , Zomato, swiggy, Google, etc many companies visit our college and many offer have been made to the students. In the last year the highest package was 86 lakhs offered and average package over all branches was 22 lakhs per annum.and the last year almost 76 Percent of the applied students have got placed and my plans after getting the degree is to do a good job in a very big mnc

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, students become eligible for the campus internships offered by companies, that provide placements after completion of the course. In the 7th semester students who have the skills, got placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, TCS Ninja, etc The highest package offered in our university is 13.50 LPA. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA. About 80% of the students got placed last year in our university. My senior told me how he got placed in TCS private limited company and assured me that I will get placed too.

Almost everything you need to know before joining about Gulzar Group of Institutes

Placement Experience:

Here the placements are fine but it also depends on students too as you can start internship from 2nd year but there is attendance issue for that you need to contact to your respective HOD's. The placements start from I think the 6th sem I am not sure but maybe or 7th but many good companies come to campus but students can also apply off campus companies too. Some company's names are listed as I know:- Amazon,Paytm,Godrej, Tech Mahindra, HCl, Wipro, etc. I am not sure about the highest and lowest package but I think the Highest package is 4 to 5 lakh . The overall percentage of students getting placed is 80% to 85% according to me. My plan is too first get the internship till 4th to 5th sem and then will sit in placements or apply for off campus if didn't got satisfied with the companies that came after I will get the job and for few years will do the job until I get I want and then I will plan about something as I want to get.

Placement Experience:

See like in final year here everyone goes into placements. And it's not up to mark because here if your in CSE IT or ECE you get placed at3-3.5 lakh per annum .but opportunities have raised in recent years production engineering student got a placement of 15 lakhs per annum and this year Flipkart arrived and gave a placement of 13lakhs last year Samsung have a placement of 12 lakhs byjus gave 10 lakhs placement. if you are in core and want to get hired for tech companies then you need to take notes courses and learn to code. And almost 70-80% students get placed but if the placement is low then it's of no use if you're re in civil or mechanical engineering then you may find the gate results are fair enough for a college. Civil and mechanical are the best branches in the college andy plan is to join Indian army after Engineering.
