- Christ has good reputation and the NCR campus is growing rapidly both in terms of popularity and infrastructure.
- The campus is very eventful. We have one or the other functions going on almost everyday.
Dislikes
- You have to wear formals everyday. You will also have to wear specific colors depending on your course.
- The library is very small and has limited materials.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is up to date and meets industry standards. If you are persuing b.a or b.s.c you are also taught third languages ie, French, German and Spanish which can be very usefull if you are planning to go abroad.
Internships Opportunities :
There are internship oppurtunities with various clubs like photography, videography, editing etc. Apart from this we have to do compulsary off- campus internship during the summer vacations. We have to pay for these internships most of the times.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for my course b.s.c psychology is 1.5 lakhs per annum. The fee increases every year. There are scholarship oppurtunities for economically weaker sections. There are some part time employment oppurtunities in the campus like in libraray or admission cell. You can earn 5-10k there monthly.
Campus Life :
There are several clubs at the department and university level. SWO(student wellfare organisation), Christ musical university, animal welfare society are some of them. The campus is very eventfull and there are events organised by different clubs every now and then.
Admission :
For admissions, first you have to apply through their website. Then you will be mailed regarding an online/ offline test which will be followed by a personal interview round. It is generally easy, you are asked general knowledge, current affairs and you will be asked to introduce yourself. Then you will be invited for a campus visit where you will have to complete some formalities.
Faculty :
The faculty members are well qualified. Most of the faculty members are PHD holders. Quality of lectures at Christ is good. Faculties are proactive and available. Faculty members are imformed and up to date with their subjects and expertise.
Interview Experience :
During the admission process we had an online/ offline test. I gave the online test. It had simple questions related to your subject, general knowledge and current affairs. It was followed by a short personal interview where you will be asked to introduce yourself. Almost everybody is selected unless you are very poor in language profiency.
