VERY INTERSTING COURSE TO STUDY BUT ONLY SUGGESTS IF YOU ARE INTERSTED INTERNATIONAL POLITICS,DIPLOMACY AND WORLD AFFAIRS. THE SYLLABUS IS NEW EDUCATION POLICY BASED WHICH ALLINGS WITH THE SKILLS AND CONTEMPERORY WORLD.I TOOK THIS COUSE BEACUSE OF MY PASSION TOWARDS THE SUBJECT.THE SYLLABUS SHOULD INCLUDE MORE TOPICS.SMESTER EXAMS IS CONDUCTED AFTER 3-4 MONTHS OF COMMENCEMENT OF CLASSES OF THE PARTICULAR SEMESTER AND THE INTERNAL IS CONDUCTED AFTER THE FIRST TWO UNITS ARE COMPLETED {TOTAL UNITS ARE 5-6}.THE LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY IS EASY TO MODERATE

THERS IS NO INTERSHIP OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE IN THE CAMPUS,STUDENT HAVE TO FIND THEIR OWN INTERSHIPS.ITS COMPULSORY TO COMPLETE A MINIMUM 14 DAYS INTERNSHIP BEFORE 5TH SEMESTER AND FOR THAT ACCADEMIC COUNCIL WILL HELP US. LAST YEAR OUR STUDENTS WENT TO JAWAHARLAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY, PONDYCHERY UNIVERSITY, MADRAS UNIVERSITY ETC FOR INTERSHIPS

TUTION FEES IS CONSISTENT FIRST SEMESTER FEES IS HIGH BEACUSE OF MANY ONE TIME FEES IT WILL BE AROUND 8000-9000 SECOND SEMESTER FEES IS COMPARITIVELY LOW BEACUSE ODD SEMSTER HAVE LOW FEES AND ITLL BE AROUND 2000-3000 THE THIRD SEMSTER WILL BE AROUD 5000 FOURTH SEM WILL BE 2000 AND THIS CONTINES TILL THE 6TH SEM. THERE WILL BE NO HIKES ,THE FEES ARE PRETTY MUCH CONSTENT TOTAL FEES WILL BE AROUND 25000 FOR THE ENTIRE COURSE COMPLETITION AS THE FEES ARE LOW THERE IS NO OTHER SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. AND WE DONT HAVE A PLACEMENT CELL IN OUR REMOTE CAMPUS SO EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES ARE LOW.

Campus Life :

OUR CAMPUS LIFE IS BORING BUT THE MAIN CAMPUS IS ONE OF THE BEAUTIFUL CAMPUS MAINLY AT MONSOON SEASON.THE ANNUAL CULTURAL IS KNOWN AS CANKAMA AND IS A NICE EXPERINCE .SPORTS MEET IS CALLED URJA AND IT ALSO GIVES A GOOD EXPOSURE TO STUDENTS.LIBRARY IS VERY GOOD.THERE ARE ALSO MANY CLUBS THAT STUDENTS CAN TAKE PART IN.

Hostel Facilities :

HOSTEL IS LIKE SECOND HOME IN CUKCC. BUT MESS IS NOT AVAILABLE. THE ROOMS ARE TWIN SOME TIMES TRIPLE SHARING. STUDENTS CAN DECIDE IT. REGISTRATION PROCESS IS SIMPLE AND FEES WILL BE AROUND 20000 FOR THREE YEARS. ROOMS ARE ATTACHED AND HAVE 2 TABLE AND 2 BED

Hostel Fee : INR 7000 per year

Admission :

ANY HIGHER SECONDARY STREAM WITH MINIMUM 45%MARK IS REQUIRED FOR THE ADDMISION CUET SCORE IS MANDATORY. AND IT'LL BE PURELY BASED ON CUET SCORE. IN CUET POLITICAL SCIENCE AND GENERAL PAPER IS GIVEN PRIFERENCE. DIFFICULTY OF CUET WILL BE MODERATE. AS THE COMPETITON IS LOW IF YOU SCORE ABOVE 50%ILE IN ONE SUBJECT AND 75% + IN ANOTHER PAPER WILL SURELY GRANT. YOU ADMISSION TO CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF KERALA

FACULTY MEMBERS ARE WELL QUALIFIED AS ITS A CENTRAL UNIVERSITY. BUT THE CHOICE TO SELECT OUR OPTIONAL PAPER IS LIMITED BEACUSE OF LESS NUMBER OF STUDENTS AND FACULTY MEMBERS.FACULTY'S ARE FRIENDLY AND SUPPORTIVE AND VERY COORPERATIVE.FACULTY TO STUDENT RATIO IS 12:1.

Placement Experience:

The college provides many placement opportunities. The campus placements happens during the sixth semester of the course. The college conducted many placement drives. The college provided classes to enhance interview skills. The college also provided opportunities to prepare Resume, Curriculum Vitae and conducted mock interviews to enhance their confidence level. Most of the students got placed who attended the interviews. I am planning to go for higher studies. I am planning to pursue Masters in English Literature. I am hoping to get admitted to this college itself.

My college and experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I love this course and I want to build my carrier through this. There are 43 students in my class. Most of the faculty members are PhD holders. The quality of teaching is good. The college conducts regular exams and scheduled internal exams. Help in the betterment of each student. Each teacher gives personal attention and care. It paved the way for my future. They help us a lot in understanding concepts and recent developments in the topics discussed in the syllabus. The curriculum follows at college comprises the modern idea of learning and it is updated with day-to-day developments in respective fields. The three-year course has six semesters. Each semester has an internal exam of 40 marks and a sem exam of 80 marks. Its a little bit difficult but through the best classes provided there we can achieve anything.
