Course Curriculum Overview
I'm studying History and Archaeo and I'm interested in that field. The methods used for teaching are PPTs, Showing us various archaeological structures in our very own college museum, etc. The timing and syllabus for exams is based on what the professors teach and they prepare us well for it
Internships Opportunities
As an archaeology student, our professors have told us that we will be helped and given assistance if we would like to work in a museum or any events related to History or Ancient indian studies.. Although i'm not fully aware of the internship opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Second Year fees are: 11,951 My college does have scholarships.. Although I'm not aware much about it as i haven't applied for a scholarship. We also have International student exchange programmes which I love the most about my college as it lets us understand the way of teaching in other countries as well!
Campus Life
There are so way too many clubs in my college!! Some even as old as 100 years! To name some: MVM, AICUF, SSL, SSG, ECC, etc. The campus life is close to what you see in movies And ofc the most famous Xavier's college fest "MALHAR"!! You get to be a part of it and experience it.. I could say best that, as much as u won't have exam or study stress, You'll have double the fun with fests and being a part of them!
Admission
I have been in St Xavier's College since JC and ever since I have been a student of this college. The process for junior college is very simple as you just need to apply through the Mum university form and select Xaviers; then fill the Xavier's college form from their website. Once it's done, u just need to wait for the merit lists to be out. The cut-off for junior college is always somewhere between 89% to 97/98%.
Faculty
The faculty is very helpful and definitely knowledgeable! Plus point, u can approach them any time. Our History professor has even given us his mail ID so if we have any queries, we can mail him to get it cleared out! So overall, I love the Xavier's faculty!
