Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is very thorough. The first year students learn subjects from all departments. Exams happen regularly with two term exams in between each semester before the end semester university examinations.
Internships Opportunities :
There is the college training and placement cell (t and p cell) that help the students find placement opportunities in different companies. There weren't many paid internships in first year but probably in senior years
Placement Experience :
There are a lot of campus placements happening every year for the senior students. A good number of students are being placed. If placements don't happen, I plan for higher studies in persuing a masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee is reasonable since it is a government aided college. Students also have option for scholarships, from many platforms. Not really sure about campus employment options. There might be but I haven't heard of any till now.
Campus Life :
There is some club activities happening most of the time but you have to go out and find them. It would be easy to miss out on all if you don't involve yourself. The college dance, music, fashion, film clubs regularly go out for competitions and win prizes. The technical clubs too. There are two major fests that happens twice a year too.
Admission :
The admission was solely based off of the KEAM ranks. I got admission in the final round allotements. Most of the form fillings were done through online. The admission was taken once the allotment was out and the admission process was in college. The process of admission was in several steps. All the different steps took place in different buildings and a lot of to and from was happening which could have been avoided if the admission process had been set up in one area or even one room, like it was in another college where I went for admission after the first allotment.
Faculty :
There is a decent number of faculty members who are involved in all academic and non academic activities in college. They are highly qualified in their fields. They are encouraging and easily approachable and helpful.
