BMS college of law

Remarks :

The application process is rather fluid with heir being an online portal of application on the college web page. The eligibility of course depends and has been broken down on the college platform. The exams happen every 4 months and are highly strenuous

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is awful and is probably the worst part, the curriculum hasn't changed in over 10 years, there is little to no basis of real world applications on the the curriculum, there should be a complete overhaul of the curriculum, there is an internals conducted by the college with a weightage of 10 and a final exam

Internships Opportunities :

The college has internship committee that sends out notifications on internship opportunities. The amount on stipend may vary greatly depending on the internship. it is totally merit based however on you being able to get interships

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It's not really that high and there is a lot of benifits provided for underprivileged, have no knowledge about campus employment ,the fees structure revolves in and around the 90000 range for a 5year course

Campus Life :

The college has various social programs conducted throughout the year and is constantly involved in various social welfare programmes. there is a college library with a vast amount of tools.the college has teams for all sports.

Faculty :

The ration between prof and students is like any other college and there is nothing to rave about, faculty are qualified profs and they have a hands on method of teaching, interactions are on a need-to-know basis and is minimal

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is the best in karnataka for a pvt law school, and ranked top 13 in india for law schools. Its very convenient for bangaloreans to attend here as of its location. They have a very well built campus and infra which is clean and green. The course is application oriented. We have a lot of moots, trials and other legal competitions held within and outside college, helps in real life law. We have tests every month and 2 end sem examsn in a year.

Placement Experience:

The semester from its winds become eligible for campus placements is ninth semester. Companies like CAM , SAM , Trilegal do visit us during placement period. Usually we have 15 to 20 offers that are made to students The highest package that has been offered is about 18 lakhs. And the average is ten lakhs Only the top 10% students get placements. Others have to get through their own merit outside placements. My plan after getting degree is too pursue Technology law.

Placement Experience:

The highest paiding would be around 20 to 21 lakh per annum which only maybe 3 to 4 students receive and that would be the tirr one form that come for placements next are the tier 2 firms and these places offer up to 12 to 13 lakh per annum. I wouldn't be sitting for any of these placement because my plan is to go back home and start practicing as an advocate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams are difficult and it's too tough and only some students will clear all subject all others will get backlogs and if we study clearly before the exam by preparing for the old question paper we can pass

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd like to give 10 on 10 for the curriculum. Though subjects year wise could be swapped which could have been beneficial for us in terms of internship but that had already been taken care of from the succeeding batch.

Placement Experience:

Out of all the law schools in India, NLSIU has the best placement so yes that's something to look forward to! Almost all Tier 1 firms come to NLSIU for placements the university has its own campus recruitment committee, and most students bag PPOs. However, the options after college are not limited to this, and many students prepare fr civil services exams or practice as advocates, or go for the judiciary.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good. Because, top companies do come and select the students provided that they have to maintain a miminum CGPA and after the interviews they are selected. In the law, the average package ranges from 3 Lakhs and the maximum goes beyond 13 Lakhs. In the third year, the students are required to elect their baskets. The students who have chosen corporate law basket get placed more. Other baskets are also good and the placements are better for them as well. But, the opportunities in the corporate field are more.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell for every single department of the university, where faculties work on the campus placement of students in various fields, As law is a professional course, there are many types of placements such as recruitments from corporate law firms , legal advising. There are many other options like Judiciary exams, Other state and central service examinations available for students.

Placement Experience:

Placement for Law are not that willed as other branches of the university but placements exists. However, litigation is promoted here so most students who pass out from here go for litigation. My plans are same too as my maternal uncle is a lawyer and he has promised to support me in and out for that.

There is college placement in BILS like 4-5 lakh per year but if any student is not able to get the the pacement there is still so many oppurtunities like litigation ,judiciary ,law firm ,etc and also there should be no back in the previous examination.
