  • Paper Valuation makes me so disappointed

Course Curriculum Overview :

I heard many people while looking for joining bcom and they suggest me DG vaishnav is one of the best college in Chennai The college management also providing value added courses collaborated with other institutions which helps students during placement or seeking for job outside The course curriculum is updated frequently for innovative thinking and for vast knowledge gain. Timing of exams are nice and study holidays are sufficiently provided by the management

Internships Opportunities :

They provide value added courses for students helpful during placement for each department and depends upon the courses and projects and internships vary I don't aware about the internships provided by the college

Placement Experience :

From 5th semester the college initiates the campus placement and various companies are coming every year for placement I think it's quite confidential about the salary package because it's a personal information Percentage of students get placed is quite low as the students population is too high which includes both shifts for placement I'm planning for getting placed from campus and I hope so :)

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college management increase curse fees every year. It depends upon the shift. I certainly don't know about the scholarship or financial aid but there must be some scholarship for SC/ST students I still don't have campus placement as it starts from August and the placement offeres decent jobs and salary

Campus Life :

Culturals are nice and they invite well known celebrities as chief guests . Variety of books and journals are available in library which is useful The college provides as DTS i.e digital teaching system within the classrooms Sports facilities are good.

Admission :

Eligibility of the course must have scored more than 90-95% cutoff marks for bcom and other related courses. Application forms available at online from college website and each application costs 200. Frequency and timing is quite difficult for me as I travel more than 10 km from my home so it takes hardly 1-2 hours to reach my home but this college is located near anna nagar. So it's not too difficult for others

Faculty :

This college offered several courses managed by each department. This varies for every department. I share about my department i.e commerce department Faculties are really good from commerce department and we likely interact with them during class hours about subject and they clear all the doubt we ask

Interview Experience :

Not yet participated in GDs and written test for placement but still I am going to have some in future. Admission process is quite difficult as many applications received for such courses and they shortlist only few for the courses

Placement Experience:

The 5th semester makes the students eligible for campus recruitment and then they often have campus recruitment from the month of November to may Pretty much VIPRO , KALIMARK and many other more MNC companies and much more visit the college for recruitment basis Most students don't opt for placements because they want to do a PG course but I would say 65% of people going for placements get one job or the other I plan on doing a PG as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen the Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) due to the core subjects are very much related to the subject of accounting and finance so that i can concentrate on my core ones. Other than this there are Bachelor of Commerce (Computer applications) and Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Secretaryship) which is been newly added in the current academic year.

The frequency and timings of exams my perspective is depends upon the person studied but all staff are very motivating the students and helping for the internship. Difficulty level is you study a lot means decrease the difficulties but you not studied means increase difficulty
