Course Curriculum Overview :

B.Com Hons course is a course giving a good knowledge into core accounting. With options in various disciplines like economics, maths, management subjects makes the course well diversified. It helps to gain a good knowledge about commercial applications in business. However, it does not have much new topics, they are the age old syllabus followed since many years.

Internships Opportunities :

There are good internship opportunities available from the campus in the second year. However only about 90 students receive campus internships. renowned names come for internship recruitment process. Average stipend is about 40K.

Placement Experience :

There is good placement opportunities from the college. The average placement is 12 lakhs and the median package is about 15 lakhs. Highest placement is about 40 lakhs. All the MBBs and big 4 come for recruitment in the college. Renowned names recruit students from on campus placement process.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fees is 30000. The course is a three year course and it has a good RoI. The average placement is 12 lakhs and the highest was about 40 lakhs. Internship opportunities are there in second year but only handful get it through college. However placement rate is quite high with reputed MNCs coming for the recruitment process. Ample scholarship opportunities are available for students.

Campus Life :

Srcc has one of the most beautiful campus with its famous red bricks similiar to IIM Ahmedabad. It has one of DU's biggest sports complex with state of the art facilities. It has a football ground, a non operational swimming pool and AC library and we'll equipped computer labs. The classrooms have ACs. There are more than 50 societies in the college for overall development of students.

Hostel Facilities :

There is a hostel facility but the admission is merit based. There are good rooms with a cupboard and a study table. A room is shared by 2 people. The hostel has a common lounge room and mess. The rooms do not have AC. The food is better than that available at PGs. The hostel is very affordable.

Admission :

The eligibility for the course is that you have to take the CUET exam. The cutoff for 2023 was 780.5. It is a common process for all the delhi university colleges. The exam is conducted every year in the month of May. The syllabus is same as class 12 cbse syllabus. Reservation is as per the government regulations.

Faculty :

The average class size is about 50 students and the tutorial batch size is 15 students. Faculty helps to clear doubts and highly knowledgeable faculty for each course. There are 4 lectures of each professor every week with 1 tutorial lecture to clarify doubts.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year and the companies that visit our campus are deloitte,kpmg india, kpmg global and pwc india, the highest package offered was 22.5lpa and the average package is 6lpa and around 85% students are usually getting placed, my plans after this degree is to pursue mba abroad

Placement Experience:

After 2nd year , in the initial days of 3rd year (5th sem)the students become eligible for sitting in the placements of the college. There were many companies who visited, some of them were Deloitte, decathlon , TravClan etc Approx 60% students got placed I want to give cat exam after degree

From 3rd or 2nd year onwards maybe you'll be able to have do internships for placement opportunities. Like 40or 50% students gets placed .after getting this degree i may be going for IIM .So a course like bcom doesn't attract a high package.

From my side from 3rd-year students become eligible for placements in different companies.No offers are made in this College for placements. If placements are given from this college than the percentile will be more than 85. I want to do MBA from CAT.

The infrastructure is not much good of the college as the fee structure is realky made feasible for all the classes of students. And to be positive i feel tnis college provides the best campus life that you can get. You will have the opportunity to experience everytjing

Entrance Preview:

Class 12th exams. College was close to my residence and one of the renounced colleges in commerce field.

Admission:

The college is under Delhi University so if follows the DU admission process of filling up forms and declaring cut off lists. I filled up the form and waited for cut off lists declaration. I got my name listed in 3rd cut off list. Paid admission fees and got the admission.
