Course Curriculum Overview
Currently I had selected Bachelor in Computer Science Engineering. Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology offers a very good curriculum in the sector. The courses offered by JCET is very relevant to the needs of industry and curriculum is designed to meet those needs.
Internships Opportunities
Jcet offers the following internship opportunities, IoT centre of excellence for industry-sponsored projects with Internships. MoUs with reputed industries for Internships and placements. They have strong alumini network to guide students for projects and Internships. Over 30 companies visit the campus for conducting campus interviews including Aero,CSE,ECE,MBA etc
Placement Experience
About 80% of students get placed into multinational companies in JCET. The average package is around 400000 per annum. Placements are offered after the second semester. The college provides training for placements like classes and article training. Companies like Wipro,Accenture,Tech Mahindra,Infosys etc are some of the companies that giving opportunities in my college.
Fees and Financial Aid
B. Tech : 124,000-125,000 for 3 to 4 years M. Tech : 70,000-80,000 for 2 years B. Arch : 141,000 for 5years MBA : 750,000 for 2 years MCA : 80,000 for 2 years Jcet also offers scholarships to students based on merit and financial need. To avail of scholarships students need to apply for the during the admission process.College also assist students in obtaining education loans from banks and other Financial Institutions.
Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life at Jawaharlal College of Engineering Technology was enriching and vibrant. They provide opportunities to connect with students from various backgrounds.Also there are regular events and festival celebrated together. There are also good hostel facilities. Classrooms and recreational are also very good.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities at Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology are very awesome. There are separate hostel for girls and boys. Rooms are shared by 4 students. No Wi-Fi is available. Furnished rooms with beds,tables and chairs and separate cupboards for each. They also provide medical facilities and first aid.
Admission
I was admitted to Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology through the KEAM entrance examination, here are the details of some admission process I went through: The eligibility for applying for this course required rank less than 40k for this college in KEAM entrance exam and PCM was compulsory for 12th grade The application form for KEAM can be found on University website There are no reservation benefits available except for disabled students Application fee,payment methods and due dates for the application form and exam dates are clearly stated to avoid confusion
Faculty
Honestly some faculties are very bad in the teaching quality stating that certain faculty members are less experienced and lack interactive teaching methods. There are also some faculty who had good knowledge. Certain instructors are more effective than others.
