Campus Life

4

The campus of this medical college is pretty decent with a multispeciality hospital affiliated with this college which is situated in campus itself. The college has its own 24/7 library with air condition and its pretty use it has number of books which can help student in the research as well as in exams. On the entrance of the college itself the college has a very huge ground which can provide opportunity to students to play cricket football basketball and other outdoor sports. However the college does not have any so kind of indoor sports ground. There are various number of social clubs run by students like literature club performing arts club research club so that every student can indulged in respective clubs based on their hobbies and areas of interest.

Hostel Facilities

4

The college has girls as well as boys hostel. The girls hostel is situated inside the campus but boys hostel is around 250 m away from the campus. The boys hostel is very decent and not much crowded but girls hostel is crowded with occupancy of 3 girls in a single room. There is a need of serious improvement in mess quality as it is being hated by students. If any student does not want hostel facility he or she can opt for rented rooms around the college campus. S college is situated at periphery of the city student can easily find a rented room or PG around the campus which charges around 2 to 3000 per month for a single student.

Admission

To get admitted in any medical colleges in India a student must undergo National eligibility cum entrance test which is also called as NEET. A student must secure rank of around 55000 to get admitted into MIMSR medical College in Maharashtra. After the results are declared Maharashtra government starts admission rounds so that a student can apply for medical colleges based on his or her rank. Application forms for admission are available on NMC website a student can also higher a counselor which can help him or her to get desired admission. The admission process is completely under Maharashtra Government and not college so no one can comment on areas of improvement. As a student mus understand MBBS is a difficult core so exams must be tough.

Faculty

4

The strength of the classroom is 150 students and there is a single teacher teaching on project. However the professors are highly qualified as they are doctors itself teaching amateur medicos. The professors are very student friendly and they are always ready to solve doubts of students anytime during the class. As far as this professional courses are considered a student has to concentrate on studies and not rely on how professors teach so any medico can cope up with quality of teaching by a professor. The dissection lab beside anatomy classroom is very use with sufficient number of dead bodies so first year medical student learns decection in a very nice way

Lectures , practicals , SLMs , PCTs, Prelims, annual exam And clinical postings Make the student very much aware of the medical knowledge That he or she is receiving.
