Course Curriculum Overview :
My core subjects are about computer science although I have many other subjects apart from my core subjects which helps me a lot. The course is especially designed to provide industry specific knowledge and groom the inner innovator in all of us. College focus on research and innovation. There are three written exams of each subject every semester apart from lab exams. All of these are very helpful in securing a campus placement. Yes there were industrial visit organised for us. All of these together helps me lot to in various aspects like personality development, time management, smart work, work management which all together build a better professional in me.
Placement Experience :
Placement statistics of college is quite good especially from my branch. Last year highest package offered was 4000000. I am in first year currently but due to the present scenario of lockdown I was unable to do a internship. Companion that visited were Amazon, samsung, jp Morgan, flipaky, paytm, grocers, big basket, make my trip, Accenture, Infosys, wipro, tcs Morgan Stanley and various others. Generally there are various round for recruitment comprising of tests and interview. 98% of students are placed every year. Yes institute provide proper guidance and help to prepare students for the placement season.
College Events :
There are mainly two event every year cultural events and technical events. Apart from these their are various other small events like hackathon, dj night and various other competition. All these things helps in alround development. The events are quite big many other colleges participate in events.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
My college fees is 120000 excluding food and hostel. Hostel fees is 6000 per month and same is the food fees every month. College accept payment through various ways like rtgs, upi, cheque neft. No there are no additional charges for admission. college is very transparent in fees breakdown as it is a government of india College.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No I didn't optefy for loan or scholarship. Although college has scholarship criteria which is based on your past performance of school.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is amazing here. A life which I thought of. Gender ratio is also decent here. 3:1 that is three boys for every one girl. Students from all part of india studies here. So it is quite diverse institute. We have labs of every possible subject which requires it. We have gym. college has various sports teams who participat in inter IIIT sports meet. We have many extracurricular activities to do. Every festival is celebrated here. There are various clubs/societies here like robotics, coding, debating, dance, music, writing and many other things. Various competition are organised by the institute. clubs are really good. Sports facility is very nice. Workshop are also arranged from time to time. There is startup incubator program going on in our college. College also promotes entrepreneurship among students. College is very unbiased. Any student, teacher, staff of any race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, politics and economic status are treated equally. Talent is the only key here. Everyone is equal and given equal opportunity in every level.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for hostel. It's a 2 seater room with 2 single bed and 2 study tables. It has a centralised air conditioning system available 24*7. There is attach bathroom in every room with facility of hot water. Internet is available for every student. Daily room cleaning service is available. The hostel fees for each student is 6000 rupees every month. Room are big and spacious with windows for fresh air.
Alumni/Alumna :
These are the best seniors anyone can get. They are very helpful. College arranges timely interactive between students and alumnis.
Admission :
I love technology and innovation so I opted for computer science as my core subject in undergraduate studies. IIIT SONEPAT is prestigious institution of government of india. It is a institute of national importance. The college focus on research and innovation. The facilities here are just amazing be it any aspect. The professor are very helpful. It's quite difficult to get admission in IIIT especially in IIIT SONEPAT. Admission in IIIT SONEPAT is done on the basis of marks scored in JEE MAINS. This year jee main dates are postponed due the current scenario. Hopefull it will be conducted on 3rd week of August.
Faculty :
The teaching mythology is just amazing here. It is best teaching that anyone can expect. There are 30 lecturer in my college and various other supporting staff members. Avery age of lecturer is 37. Every lecturer is PhD holder here. It's the minimum qualifications required to be a lecturer in my college. They are best in their respective subjects. As a student I feel they have best clarity of their respective subjects and so they are able to transfer it to me. Yes they hold relevant industry experience and certificates. They are renowned all over the India for their work and expertise.
