Course Curriculum Overview :

my course offered me economics and computer-science as a main subject which helped me to gain knowledge. they offer multiple societies and clubs which help for real-world applications. teachers must conduct regular classes the frequency and timings of exams are good and their difficulty level is medium.

Internships Opportunities :

many companies like kpmg, tvs came and mostly were small startups offering cold calling, marketing and sales jobs. many coding related proects were given, we had to maintain a practical file for every semester.

Placement Experience :

from 2nd semester we are eligible for college placements tvs, kpmg, other multiple startup mostly small scaled. avg package 3 lacs and highest package 35,00,000 40% to gain corporate experience after graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

my yearly fees was 12500+2500 for examination and course selection fee. 45000 facilities are available for students who could't afford fees and they also provide scholarship to good students. they have semester wise internship fair.

Campus Life :

many dance and music festivals were organized. multiple range and accessibility of books and ournals available in the library no technology were in the class room only labs were provided. all sports were offered and major being criciket and volleyball

Admission :

the eligibility of the course was to secure 90% marks in cbse. my admission process was through cut off which was reflected on DU website. they provide multiple reservations to-army,obc and others. in every 6 months they conduct semester exams with medium difficulty. admission process was changed in 2022

Faculty :

on over 60-70 students there is only one teacher alloted and most of the times the teachers were absent. the teachers are old and experienced and they know how to connect with the students. if a teacher has 5 classes in a week then he only conducts 2-3 and sometimes even 1 class in a week.

Placement Experience:

Sri Venkateswara College provides placements for Science and Commerce Students, not for BA Students. The college has a good record in the placement cell. I am an Arts student so I don't have any placement. So I choose UPSC as my career option. I will try until I succeed.

Placement Experience:

Placement cells do not provide placements to English graduates. Only a few companies came to hire English graduates. I'm planning to do a master's or B.Ed to secure a career in teaching after my graduation.

6th-semester students are eligible to apply for campus placements. Companies like Bains and Co., KPMG, etc visit our college. Some are known and some unknown. I did not participate in campus placements as I decided to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

The college is good and faculty teacher is very helpful and the canteen is great. The playground is very big and clean. College has many societies. Admission process is merit based and first cum basis.

Admission:

No, because my admission merit based and my performance and sc quota so I can't face any group discussion, interview, or written tests. My result calculation is sufficient to get admission.

Remarks:

The college is excellent when it comes to academic excellence though it lacks a bit in infrastructure and placements.

Admission:

After giving my 12th class board exams I was looking at potential places to do my graduation from and Delhi University and Jamia millia islamia were on the top of my list due to their reputation and excellent national rankings. I ended up choosing jamia because it had the reputation for being very academics oriented and having a sincere student body. The fact that jamia has an entrance exam was also a draw for me as it ensured my peers were selected on the basis of stiff competition ensuring I got the best environment to pursue my academics.Jamia conducts its entrance exam around june-july with admissions taking place in august. The admission process is pretty straightforward and most of the process such as registration and payment of fees is online. The final registration is done in person in the university itself. Original documents such as 10th and 12th marksheets are required as well as character certificate and school leaving certificate. The list of required documents is available on the university website.

Placement Experience:

Our college has JEET placement Cell. JEET provides weekly updates on new internships. There are too many opportunities. However my course, Psychology doesn't have placement opportunities as such as Psychology is a complex field that has yet to be Specified in Masters.
